    I have some bugs in my tail lights, service center asking $1000 to replace both tail lights and the chrome piece. Hoping I can do this without breaking anything.

      Neal Spears tip. in the clip you see I use 3M tape. Better is to buy the original tape @ Tesla. you don't need to change the chrome strip. hope this was helpfully. kind regards

      Just pressure wash it, that is what I did it and it is clean again

      Plastic revets, with plastic spoon wiggle till it pops out.

    Do you have to disconnect the battery and the cord with orange tag?. Another youtuber claimed that you can get electrocuted if you don't disconnect the battery and the cord with orange tag? Thanks.

      Only for changing the 12Volt battery and working on the high power supply.

      Yes you need to do this, It disconnect the high volltage system.
