This is a nice disassembly video, thanks! Any tips on sealing the lights to prevent water from seeping back into them? That's the problem I have, and an earwig (bug) has somehow ended up inside the middle of the outer one, it's quite an eyesore.
Outer plastic protective lens doesn't come off unless you use a Dremel or something unless it breaks off as it seems to be a (cyanoacrylate?) permanent glue seal.

Is it necessary to cut power to the high voltage system to replace the right rear tail light assembly?
Why didnt you show how to remove the transparent glass?

What kind of connector goes to this tail light? Is it 6 pin?
I have taken mine off, removed the 4x 5.5mm hex bolts. But it doesn't separate. Did you have to break the laser weld?
Suction cup or plastic spudger type tool to separate from adhesive tape seal.
is it quite easy or big risk of damaging something? Easy assembly?
They for sure cracked the clear cover 😂
