Did he explain that salvation is only by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone? Or did he preach a feel-good sermon that stroked your ego? The truth is we are all wretched sinners who deserve the wrath of God...But God the Father, rich in mercy, tore apart and bled out the body of God the Son, who willingly yielded His life in order to reconcile us with the Father. That is the good news, not that God's list is best for you.

For me it was actually the opposite. I kept having not the best results when it came to dating. So I created a list of what I wanted and prayed over the list and my now wife came 4 months after so prayed. I believe ripping up the list works for some people but not everybody.

If you have peace after you pray over it then you know exactly what you want and you won’t be going through as much people trying to find your one.

He’s so right about how the issue is that people need truth. John 8:32 says you shall know the truth and the truth will set you free! Many people don’t need ministry or prayer, they just need truth, which is found in God’s word!

I really think that not knowing the principles of relationships from the Bible has prolonged the mistakes I’ve made in my singleness. I’ve been single for 7 years but I’ve made alot of emotional attachments to men who, looking back, were DEFINITELY not Godly and has prolonged me not being found by the right person because I’ve been distracted and praying about men I knew deep down were not the one…that ends right here and right now

Michael Todd, I watched ALL of your videos in “Relationship Goals” and “Relationship Goals Re-Loaded” when it came out. Specifically “Rip Up Your List” I watched last year and it was so helpful! Thankyou, I am so excited for this message. - - I “ripped up my list”, however I kept certain aspects of character that I prayed about. I am, now, married to an amazing man. We have gone through ALOT the last 9 months and I would like to ask a question: How did you and Natalie (or anyone else who is reading this message) get through the rough times of past and current baggage that was brought into your marriage?

Question for y’all: What if someone ripped up their list in the sense that the woman they found themself in love with, didn’t meet a lot of their hopes and dreams (especially physically), but they went ahead and got married anyway? In other words, they tried following this advice and said to God, “I am choosing to marry this person even though they meet the standard in some very important areas, because I feel at home with them, they are precious to me, they are my friend, I like them?” So, they thought they were ripping up the list by committing to someone they wouldn’t have committed to if they didn’t have faith that love can overcome dislikes, etc., but now they are frustrated, wondering if they should have demanded certain things (kept part of the list)… what does one do? And yes, I am talking about myself, obviously. 😉

God's plan is the best! There are times where we can't understand it but his will is better than all our lists and desires! Praise God for saving us from situations where we ourselves get into. I'd experience getting into a relationship where lust and fear is the center it's exhausting but God made a way to save me. Now I'll surrender everything to Christ, following His will. Following that logic will lead to the conclusion that those who pray the least are the most godly. The word of God says to PRAY WITHOUT CEASING
Never stop praying. Love the concept but continue with prayer. NEVER think a principle can replace prayer.

I really think that not knowing the principles of relationships from the Bible has prolonged the mistakes I’ve made in my singleness. I’ve been single for 7 years but I’ve made alot of emotional attachments to men who, looking back, were DEFINITELY not Godly and has prolonged me not being found by the right person because I’ve been distracted and praying about men I knew deep down were not the one…that ends right here and right now

Thankyou, I am so excited for this message. - - I “ripped up my list”, however I kept certain aspects of character that I prayed about. I am, now, married to an amazing man. We have gone through ALOT the last 9 months and I would like to ask a question: How did you and Natalie (or anyone else who is reading this message) get through the rough times of past and current baggage that was brought into your marriage?

Question for y’all:
What if someone ripped up their list in the sense that the woman they found themself in love with, didn’t meet a lot of their hopes and dreams (especially physically), but they went ahead and got married anyway? In other words, they tried following this advice and said to God, “I am choosing to marry this person even though they meet the standard in some very important areas, because I feel at home with them, they are precious to me, they are my friend, I like them?” So, they thought they were ripping up the list by committing to someone they wouldn’t have committed to if they didn’t have faith that love can overcome dislikes, etc., but now they are frustrated, wondering if they should have demanded certain things (kept part of the list)… what does one do? And yes,
I am talking about myself, obviously. 😉

God's plan is the best! There are times where we can't understand it but his will is better than all our lists and desires! Praise God for saving us from situations where we ourselves get into.
I'd experience getting into a relationship where lust and fear is the center it's exhausting but God made a way to save me. Now I'll surrender everything to Christ, following His will. Thank you for this Life Church, a lot of people needs to hear this it's a blessing 🙌🤍
