Annie Tarasova Conversations with God (the trilogy) including Neale Donald Walsch's 4th book, Awaken the Species. Not in any way religious, by the way! Can't describe how these books transformed my entire life in every facet… Finally introduced me to a god I can fall in love with and not fear- one with no ego and no expectations of any single one of us. There is a workable spiritual answer to basically any question I feel anyone could have about well, metaphysics and the world in which we live, as well as the force of God as consciousness found in you and me and the universe alike among so much other exceedingly enlightening content. Addresses the most thought-provoking, alleviating, FREEING and spectacular (in my opinion) insight and how to awaken the species to virtually evolve overnight (granted if we all grasped and lived the philosophies). Honestly a masterpiece. Conversations with God is the reason I am even on my spiritual path for it has been the most divine portal to myself. Blessings to you all, and thank you for another lovely and inspiring video Annie x🌞🌙✨ Hope you will check CWG out! You will never regret it (or so at least I believe)!
“A New Earth” made everything click for me on my spiritual journey. When I read it...it was a “YES, THIS IS IT” moment. I was given the book by my father in a dream and he had a message telling me that i was going to find what I was looking for in it. It was weird but I take dreams seriously, so what better way to tell me lol. A few days prior to the dream, I bought two books including “A New Earth” but I chose to read the book that was more familiar to me to no avail and was frustrated...until I had the dream...it has catapulted my spiritual journey!!! It was the last thing I packed before my trip...will never forget it!!! Def going to give the other suggestions a try...looking for more to read!!! And Untethered Soul by Michael Singer was awesome book as well! Thanks for sharing!
I decided to read "ishamael" after watching your video. It's now 6 hours later and that book has honestly changed my life. It was so eye opening and made me question everything about the way humans treat the world.
I hate to burst your bubbles, but you need to read the SEQUEL (it's called "My Ishmael") before you promote Ishmael. I, too, fell in love with Ishmael, and after I read the sequel I felt sophomoric for relating so hard to the first book. For real, if the first book changed your life, the second book will blow your mind.
this might sound crazy but Everytime i watch your videos it makes me forget about all the worries in life, an your happiness shines through threw the screen, you are a bright, and magical soal 💛🌙
Eckhart Tolle came into my life in perfect timing, I felt alive and eager for more knowledge. It was as if I had discovered something so amazing... definitely you should read “the power of now” before “a new earth”. 🙂☺️
I literally teared up sitting in a cafe watching this. You are unconditional love, Annie. And we all really are, aren’t we😭😭😭 Thank you so much for bringing so much excitement to my life and lives of many. xx from japan
Love the video!! 💓 my top 5 are: 1. 1984 by George Orwell 2. Thus Spoke Zarathustra by Friedrich Nietzsche 3. On the Road by Jack Kerouac 4. The English Patient by Michael Ondaatje 4. The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde

I just wanted to say thank you for sharing this video . You have a great taste in literature and also give out a very positive vibe which is refreshing in a negative based world . Keep on posting more videos ! I will most certainly support! Not to be strange , but if no one has told you , I am proud of you and hope you continue on your journey! Live long and prosper !:)
I don’t care how basic it is call me by your name changed my life and confidence and thought process I love the book the movie the casting andré and Luca I just 10000% recommend
This video was in my recommended . It was my first time visiting your channel and I realised how freaking much you love books since you have filmed a twenty two minute non-edited video talking about them.I STAN YOU GIRL.
You were literally send as a gift from the universe. You're shining so bright, like the moon and sun together. Everytime I watch your videos I feel so energized and inspired, it's crazy. Thank you so much for being you and being there for us ❤️ Ps: a book which you would might love 'Journey into Now' by Leonard Jacobsen
The five books that changed my life are - the Scriptures (the Bible), Coelho's The Alchemist and The Pilgrimage, Kahlil Gibran's The Prophet, and the Celestine Prophecy of James Redfield. Those were the books that made me understood the connection of every being to every being and the Cosmos to myself; the rise of New Consciousness; and of course, how we would rise from the chaos and see ourselves. I love your videos and the way you view life and things. You truly are heaven-sent. Much love and light coming from your heart. You're beautiful as Nature is. Keep the good vibes coming. And also, I am also recommending you to read The Web in the Sea by Alice O. Howell, the Return of the Prophet, and of course, The Celestine series by Redfield. :) Blessings from the Philippines!
The Prophet has become like a Bible to me. Whenever I want to have that spiritual tranquility and solace amid the adversity, chaos, fear, and loneliness--I just turn to its pages. Thanks for appreciating, Mimi! I also love Gibran's Madman. But I don't have the physical book neither the e-book. Just read it online. :) Blessings!
Just wanted to say, thank you for recommending Ishmael. I had just finished it as my 8th book of the year and I had found it to send me down a cynical understanding of the world for a moment, but right back into the clarity after a life experience chatting with a "conservative" over the idea of hunting. I had come to realize that being a city born individual, I had realized that the political mess between "polar opposites" is an example of the idea of leaver vs taker - the fact that the takers have forced the leavers to convert or die mentality, then I realize that was happening literally in the world today. Thus, that realization and encounter humbled me to realize, at the end of the day, we are all humans, we are all of the core and oneness - shed all the labels we are all of the same race. Just wanted to say thank you for recommending a book that brought me into a hermit's cave and back out into the world to integrate the wisdom. P.s your accent is adorable. Your symbolic things in your room are awesome. :)
have you read big magic by elizabeth gilbert? it rocked my world. its all about creativity and the magic of it all. if you haven't read it, i highly recommend!
You are the definition of inspiration. You are like an angel full of life wisdom Annie! You're an example to us all to slow down, be here, and to love. I resonate with your thought processes and ideas and theories so much! Sometimes I'm mind blown when you describe things exactly as I have thought them or experienced them. You are the universe solidifying my understanding. Thanks for being you! :)
I’m so glad I found you! I’ve recently began getting into spirituality and learning how the universe works but I had no idea where to really start and who to go to for guidance. And your videos have helped a lot! I’m grateful
I'm only part-way through this but I'm feeling compelled to recommend "The Untethered Soul." The segments you read from "The Mastery of Love" aloud reminded me of that.
My absolute favorite book is Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Album! It's about a man who reunites with an old professor at the end of the professors life and the final lessons that he has with him. Truly a beautiful book with so many amazing lessons in it. I've read it 3 or 4 times and know that you would really love it!
kaitlinquinn hes my favourite author :) thr five people you meet in heaven is my favourite by him. Tuesday's with morrie made me cry so much. Then again I ball reading all his books I own them all. Xo
I love love love and thank you for the fact that you talk about such important things on your channel - living life, eating and being healthy, plants, nature, spiritualism, travel and books. I love Paulo Coelho too. 5 books that changed my life are always changing, but at the moment: Picture of Dorian Gray, The Girl on the Train, The Girl with All the gifts, The Kite Runner and Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki.
When you read that quote about the universe having no age, I literally cried and had a strong connection with you, I had also read that book and wrote it in my journal and read most of what you suggested, you are such a beautiful soul!! Blessed be my love 😊
I loved “Big Magic”. Definitely recommend if you want to embrace the creativity within. It’s not too out there and spiritual, but beautifully human and authentic.
Yes, "Big Magic" is one of my Favourite books, probably my FAVOURITE actually. She talks about creativity and inspiration in a beautiful, playful way. Sending lots of love to you Annie xx
I love all the books you named. They are definitely life-changing and my life has also been changed by them. I love your spirit and aura which make you so beautiful. You are inspiring and you brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for reading out portions of some of the books. They were very powerful parts. Thank you.
gosh... you are so inspirational... just discovered your channel and i really think, honestly, that you're probably gonna make a change in my life i swear. I have anxiety, and i am 100% sure that those books will help me so much so just thank you 🙏🏼
Ok annie. I appreciate all that. I have started meditating and feel like it makes me feel less from my thoughts, they become just superficial happening and don't control or come from feelings. It changss me, how my whole emotion thought action process works. Does drawing due that for you? I think reading poetic works which really focused me got me into another brain wave state. I mean maybe art is for you like for an athlete who is 'in the zone' . You are not really doing it. It flows through you. Since you have been dong this so long you are really in touch with this inner energy. So you fel nature and stuff so naturally. So like you said opposite of my idea. I as a kid was not given creative outlet (if suppose I were good at drawing) so tried earning money doing techie stuff but could not concentrate on engineering, computer stuff, too technical. My power is in my body, doing yoga, singing, nature worship. So whereas I and most people in industrial civilization deny inner creativity and therfore access to their spirituality and get worse, neurotic or with luck have a spiritual crisis which many cannot handle as it goes against their idelogy of middle class life, you have a more smooth ride, seemingly natural as you have not made a break with your inner nature, except the time studying naturopathy. Only problem is earning a living from art without becoming cynical salesman, destroying artistic spontaneity. Think of van gogh goung crazy. I read your stuff about meditation, hands getting hot and now tingling in spine from book. Maybe gradual kundalini awakening will happen without massive downtime stress many suffer as they have denied inner self so long, which you have mostly avoided. Watching your video again today at first I got energetically so drawn into you like a magnet, strong. This is typical for me. Sometimes I feel lots of energy from people, other days I feel nothing. Before 2015 however it was just internal like you describe in hands, spine so no stress as very gradual over years,. I thought awakening was a nice personal thing going on in me. The external phase has become much more difficult. Being very introverted it forced me to become rational, objective about feelings for people. Like if my heart chakra or 3rd eye reacts strongly to you it is now normal like other 5 senses but at first it only worked on certain people and I obsessed, took it personally. Awakening goes through such phases. You are amazed that your hands heat up then it is normal, you learn to control it it spreads around your body, it gets to be tooo much, you chill out, do yoga to spread it around, pour it into your art, take nature walks, go out with friends. Meditation is a control mechanism for ever higher energy levels for me. Energy means emotions and meditations distances one from feelings(quiets thoughts, emotions). So I am starting to get back where I used to be, introverted, logical, thoughtful, slow, unemotional. Meditation is a great tool to steer, control increasing energies from awakening. How do you get ideas for art? Would meditation calm mind and help flow of ideas or destroy creativity? There is theory that successful people are driven by childhood neuroses, artists too. After psychotherapy their art is no good as they are healed. Other great yogis like sri aurobindo have ideas just flow from them as they become enlightened. It would be interesting to see how that effects you and your art. I bet it will just get better.
Your inner radiance and beauty shines forth like a Diamond. I pray your Prince slays the Dragon, and Crowns you his Queen. The Force is Love, and may it be with you always
I love how you went into so much detail about each book, I really want to try this video idea! A Thousand Splendid Suns was a life changing book for me :)
I read Ishmael after your recommendation and after that I was literally telling everyone around me to read this. Its so hard to explain this book in just two to three lines because at one point it goes to the point before the universe was made. Honestly, Ishmael is for those people who have patience and love to read AND who wants to know about mankind and the aftermaths. P.S. I loved Ishmael And I'll be forever guilty from the side of whole mankind to all other living creatures, for the destruction I cannot stop even after knowing (reading Ishmael) everything.
I am about to buy it. There are so many amazing books. I recommend to you Ayurveda Lifestyle Wisdom by Aharya Shunya and her other book Sovereign Self. Much love. xx
Conversations with God (the trilogy) including Neale Donald Walsch's 4th book, Awaken the Species. Not in any way religious, by the way! Can't describe how these books transformed my entire life in every facet… Finally introduced me to a god I can fall in love with and not fear- one with no ego and no expectations of any single one of us. Soul For Thought I love Conversations with God! People may be put off by the title and think it's religious but like you said, not at all. I have read and reread them many times and they always bring me peace and serve as a gentle reminder to come back to myself, to remember where I came from and why I am here. Everything in the books resonated with me, as if I already knew this information (we all do, we simply forget..and it is set up that way on purpose). Another one of Neil's books I'd highly recommend is Home with God. It is a follow up to the trilogy as well and it is about death and dying and it will give you a whole new perspective on what happens during the process. It is great for those in mourning and anyone really who wonders or fears the process. Spoiler alert: There is nothing to fear. :)
Yes! I whole heartedly agree. I read CWG when I was 14 years old and it has changed my life. It was on my dads bookshelf and I picked it up one day and my dad said I should read it with an open mind and it changed so much for me. Thanks for leaving this comment. I always hoped other people recognise how amazing Neale Donald Walsh is :)
Oohh! Now I kind of want to hit up the second hand shops around here and see if I can find some. Maybe do a cool adventure vlog lol - thank you for sharing!! :D
This is my first video of yours I’m watching and i am absolutely obsessed with you already! You’re so outgoing and downright perfect :)) can’t wait to watch your other vids!!
Thank you for being Annie. Again a wonderful video that made my morning. You are so natural and radiant. I really want to read Ishmael now! One of my favorites I stumbled across during travels was Gary Zukav's 'The seat of the soul'. A great book of knowledge and easy to read. And as I haven't done it yet, at least in word here, thank you for your advise in the last video. I took a screenshot and read it whenever I feel panicky, take a deep breath, and also visualize my partner saying that we are not going to stay forever in Germany but will go back to New Zealand. Lots of love :)
Thank you so much for this video, Annie. I used to be obsessed with reading, it felt like I was finding myself in each book I read. I fell off though and I happened to click this video and I am so excited to start again. Thank you.
A Monster Calls: kinda reminds me of how you described The Alchemist. Its written like a childrens book, but has such a deep meaning behind it. Its about a boy who's mother has cancer & he's been having nightmares that he cannot come to terms with, so this 'tree' basically comes to life and tells him 3 stories. (huge meanings behind them) then after the 'tree' tells these stories, the boy has to explain to him his. along with alot of other things happening in this boys life.
i admire your passion! it’s contagious and motivates me to read, read, read. you give off the impression of looking at our world through fresh, loving eyes which is something all of us need to do in this day. i am beyond happy you’re using your platform to spread positivity & love & knowledge. new subscriber here 💓💞💘
Thank you for sharing. There are some things that I am actually learning from you. Below are some of my favorite books: The Early Writings. The Shemitah. The Book of Enoch. The Grand Pursuit. The Israel Test
My top 4 (I personally couldn’t find the fifth one 😂❤️): 1. Siddartha by Herman Hesse 2. Conversations with God (the trilogy) by Neale Donald Walsh 3. Eat pray love by Elizabeth Gilbert 4. The power of now by Eckhart Tolle
Osho is my favorite author and his book Love, Feeedom, and Aloneness, came into my life at such a difficult time for me and I can finally be by myself without feeling lonely and knowing how to spread love without smothering people and so much more. I highly recommend it.
you need need need to read the four agreements. in the last chapters it was like a weight off my shoulders. and the same way you felt reading the mastery of love. i felt that with the four agreements. i just cried. i took pictures of the pages so i could look at it forever. (it was only a library book at the time but since then i have purchased it) please get it!! and best of luck on your journey. much love. stay lovely

Omg when you were talking about that bookshop in Santorini I remembered I also went to one there and it was obsolutely amazing so I had to look it up because I didn't remember the name of it and it is the same you went to!! I don't know why but this made me very happy
Thanks for reading that passage. That was deep. The force is everything and it allows us to be who we are! Thanks again for the inspiration..it real helped me think how my life is working
Annie this has touched me deeply. We have similar book tastes.. by far my favorite video of yours so far! Try the book of secrets it mentions the life force within✨
I read Ishmael during the summer after I graduated. I think i've bought about 10 copies because I keep giving it to people to borrow and they keep keeping it! I've now read every Daniel Quinn book I can get my hands on. Once you get over the strange reality of a gorilla "talking", you won't regret reading it!
Soooo I'm borrowing the books right now and I cannot wait to read them. I'm planning to read them with my 12 year old son. Thanks soo much for this video!
I haven’t really read since I was younger and I regret it. Im 16 now and I’m determined to start reading again, thankyou for inspiring me. The description of The first book almost made me cry. Because we’re killing the planet and the “life force” book passage literally changed my life in a few seconds
I look and listen .. you could be my granddaughter. Your sensitive spirit and loving soul is so precious. Thank you for book list.. I will devour them., going through a spiritual awakening late in life.. better late than never I guess..❤️
Under Contract: Life in the Middle of Dreams , a verse novel, it’s about a lady name Marcy Gene who wants to start a art studio but she’s raising a family as a married mother when the property she’d been eyeballing goes “under contract” causing her dream to be crushed in that solitude moment. Look on Amazon for it.
Let me know YOUR favourite life changing books. I'm always always looking for more books to read :)

do you have a spotify or any other music accounts for the music you listen to? it's always so calming

Madison S yessssss!! ONE OF THE BEST BEST BOOKS!
☝️ This one!!
I absolutely adore how truly amazed and passionate you come across! I’m in love with the way you talk about these books
I found Ishmael in a little free library box in my neigbourhood a couple years ago and I havent read it yet but I think I will now..
Pleaseee do an updated room tour it looks so pretty! And thank you for this video I can’t wait to read all these
When you read that quote about the universe having no age, I literally cried and had a strong connection with you, I had also read that book and wrote it in my journal and read most of what you suggested, you are such a beautiful soul!! Blessed be my love 😊
The emotion that you project is so powerful and special. Thank you for this video and this inspiration
I loved “Big Magic”. Definitely recommend if you want to embrace the creativity within. It’s not too out there and spiritual, but beautifully human and authentic.
All of Don Miquel’s books have changed my life.
Yes, "Big Magic" is one of my Favourite books, probably my FAVOURITE actually. She talks about creativity and inspiration in a beautiful, playful way. Sending lots of love to you Annie xx
I’ve just found you & I’m in love you, it’s so hard to find TH-camrs who are real & enlightened, you’re exactly what I was looking for
I love all the books you named.
Omg, thanks for sharing your favorite books! What you read on the third one was beautiful!! Love it
Please read Conversations with god! I want to know your opinion!!
Your inner radiance and beauty shines forth like a Diamond. I pray your Prince slays the Dragon, and Crowns you his Queen. The Force is Love, and may it be with you always
The way of a peaceful warrior changed my life
Great book!!
From someone passionate about the book, what is it about?
The color purple! Left such an impression, same goes for Rumble - ellen Hopkins
We need you to read a book! You bring it to life. Beautiful x
You forgot the most life changing book series ever: Harry Potter
Oh my god yes.
Why Harry Potter?
Alelia Oviedo Because it's absolutely fantastic
Have you read also Tolkien? especially Silmarillion? what are your thoughts?
i feel like i'm the only one that don't like harry potter lol
I love how you went into so much detail about each book, I really want to try this video idea! A Thousand Splendid Suns was a life changing book for me :)
I read Ishmael after your recommendation and after that I was literally telling everyone around me to read this. Its so hard to explain this book in just two to three lines because at one point it goes to the point before the universe was made.
Honestly, Ishmael is for those people who have patience and love to read AND who wants to know about mankind and the aftermaths.
P.S. I loved Ishmael
And I'll be forever guilty from the side of whole mankind to all other living creatures, for the destruction I cannot stop even after knowing (reading Ishmael) everything.
I just read the 1st in the trilogy & my entire existence is shook❤
Yes! I whole heartedly agree. I read CWG when I was 14 years old and it has changed my life. It was on my dads bookshelf and I picked it up one day and my dad said I should read it with an open mind and it changed so much for me. Thanks for leaving this comment. I always hoped other people recognise how amazing Neale Donald Walsh is :)
the passage you read from the 4th book really shook my whole inner-perception just now, definitely going to buy ASAP
Oohh! Now I kind of want to hit up the second hand shops around here and see if I can find some. Maybe do a cool adventure vlog lol - thank you for sharing!! :D

Thank you.
A Monster Calls:
kinda reminds me of how you described The Alchemist.
Thank you very much for the recommendation

Ishmael is one of my all time favourites as well ❤️❤️ It had such an impact on my life
I read Ishmael during the summer after I graduated.
