My grandfather was a painter. Got some of his original work on the wall around here. It really impressed me how somehow could paint like that from their imagination and wonder the inspiration involved. The natural landscapes he did were probably my favorite ones.

Hi Annie 💕 this is a random thought but have you ever considered making a video sharing challenges and struggles you’ve gone through in your life and how you’ve overcome them? I love you and how positive you are, and I’m just so curious to know how you’ve come to a place where you always remain in such a healthy mindset. 😌

It is so true that I personally judged my art so hard that it doesnt look the way I imagined in my mind and because the painting doesnt look the way I imagined, it is bad, i am not a good artist. What a misconception! Now I tend to just let go and not really think is it good or bad. It is my art and this is who I am and if people like it or not is really very subjective. 😊

I have been looking at instagram photos and nature you can't beat of course but how it is presented with lihghting, angle is important. If you can connect with artist that is because they are at a higher vibration that connects more universally to most people. Their message is more true generally. Exclusivity of snobs making weird stuff only they 'get' is stupid. Of course some people just are natural talents but even so practice brings it out. Like if you drew for last ten lifetimes and kept getting better,, born to draw till yu were a genius, in your genes, so to speak. I can't do art but I feel wonder, amazement. This is why some stuff lasts after everything else of a culture lands in garbage dumpsters like top 10 songs of year x all sound same. Everyone copies everyone else. A unique vision comes often out of deep suffering which comes through to heal. The art relates this. We learn how to get to a higher state better or more systematically than others, to have perspective on it. Such artists can even relate normal stuff to us more subtly. Like watching olympics. God that looks easy but thousands of hours gymnastics practice beforehand and the right genes. Some of your photos are cool. Your early shorts on instagram doing scorpion 5 years ago on beach, in your room. Slow start but look now, 75,000 or 150, 000 clicks for an art demo.

Annie I think you’re amazing person and I like your content very much, but I have to comment on first piece of advice. Art is subjective to people, yes, but there is such thing as bad art. Some things can be measured just like in music. That’s why art critics often times are right - of course that takes a lot of knowledge and understanding of art to be a good one. And also, what I’ve learned at philosophy of art class - beautiful art can exist without our approval. Some things can be beautiful and not recognized by people. The beauty just IS - it’s not subjective because it can exist without recognition. The knowledge helps to recognize that beauty. For example, majority of people are not moved by art at all. It doesn’t make the art and beauty of it any less meaningfull. I do have advice for you, though. I’m saying that just because I myself thought that I knew what can be considered good art. I did not - studying it changed my whole perspective. I thought the same way as you do - but learning about it actually makes you see more clearly and have more educated opinion. I know that you can grow as an artist just by painting, but I would advise you to go study it more, so you can broaden your horizons. I like what you create, because you have specific style, but trying some completely different method and starting from foundations can really improve your art in a ways you cannot even imagine. This is how I realised that drawing hiperrealisticly is not a good thing to do. Shifting from little format to the much much bigger, you quickly realise that you cannot do many things, because you simply focus on details while such things as composition or proportions are not something your hand and brain understand. I don’t want to sound like know-it-all because I don’t know that much. Like I said, I enjoy things you create and want you to succed as much as possible. That’s the only reason I comment and I can be wrong.

You're right actually. I went straight into painting lessons and I can do amazing paintings BUT I should have learned how to draw and perspective first. It works for me now but I'd do it differently if I could go back 40 years :)
