Hi Kaan! I tried the option (alt for me I think because my keyboard has no option button) + command + r and got the spinning world. However instead of having the option to set a wi-fi, the bar under the world stop moving and next to the bar it says "24:00". It didn't happened anything else after that. :(

i have an intel imac that ran high sierra apparently.. the drive is completely erased and formatted... disk utility sees the HD and my bootable USB with high sierra on it.. but everytime i try to get into the boot loader it never lists the drives and always sends me to internet recovery.. where i get to the 'can not connect to server' when trying to use the install option available there.. ive tried multiple usb drives thinking maybe weird compatibility issues but ive tried 5 at this point.. lol... even if i unplug the ethernet cable and dont connect to wifi, it still only gives me the internet recovery option.. and just indefinitely globe spins because there is no connection... i tried the time update/sync suggested and no luck and also do not receive the 'updated' recovery screen when trying the key combo you suggested. just the same old one as before. any other suggestions?
My MacBook is stuck at the internet recovery no matter what key combination that I press. So I tried to roll with it but i keep getting stuck on a black screen with exclamation mark that says I should go to Apple support website. One time i got to a screen that says activation lock status couldn’t be determined because apple servers could not be reached. Please help

I was so stressed out when I received a white version of this 🚫 that appeared after performing a factory reset on my mid 2014 MacBook Air! After a few hours of searching, restarting, holding different combination of keys, and thinking I had completely destroyed this perfectly fine computer, I found your tutorial and IT WORKED! The trick seemed to be quickly selecting the command+option+r like you said… that and patience AND updating the date. Thank you so much!

Hi I need help 😅 I’m gonna start by saying that my iMac is 2011 so I may have pushed it’s lifespan far enough as it is, but I have hope. The computer started with the spinning wheel coming probably coming from ‘finder’, so I thought I’d give it some help and restated it manually. When I turned it back on the white window of death popped on and a loading bar was taking forever but finally got to the end and stayed there for hours. Tried restarting again same thing. So then I tried the command alt R P, that made the loading bar reach half way before the computer would just shut off on it’s own. Then I tried command R and went into disk utilities and made the difficult decision to restore my ‘Macintosh HD’ and it asked if I wanted to copy from OS X Base System….which I thought was the right thing to do. Since then the computer automatically turns on to Disk Utility without button pressing and ‘Macintosh HD’ is gone leaving only ‘OS X Base System’ and ‘BOOTCAMP’. I’m also unable to Reinstall macOS as it gives me the same error message you are getting but the internet and time are correct. Got any ideas? 😥
Still have an issue with the server, sometimes it lets me attempt to reinstall but gets stuck at 54 minutes and says “An error occurred loading your update”. I’ve spoken to apple support and they said I should try to erase my Mac and back it up to an external storage device and then try to reinstall. What do you think? I have a MacBook Pro 2020 M1 chip

You are my savior! I wasted a whole day of my life on this nonsense! They really shut down servers with old OSes and there is simply no way to recover to them. I spent the whole day looking for information on how to reinstall and only came across articles with "wrong date". I couldn't even reinstall from USB, because the mac came to me with an erased SSD and I couldn't turn off the T2 chip, because for this you need to enter the password from the admin, and there are NO PROFILES, because the disk is erased! Thank you very much for the video
You mentioned T2 chip which is installed on Mac models 2017 or newer. This also means it could be iCloud locked like iPhone or iPad to the original owner. It’s been awhile for me to do any macOS diagnostics and troubleshooting, just curious if this is the case and if you’re able to log in to your iCloud.
Can we communicate for an issue I’ve got please? My Mac doesn’t work on the shut down servers and on the new ones it’s old device so it doesn’t support them Catalina

So hey @kaan my worked but did not work I’m stuck in the “macOS Monterey This disk is not formatted as Mac OS Extended (Journaled). Use Disk Utility to enable journaling or reformat the disk.” So something is wrong with the disk?

Can you help me please? I am trying to reset a 2009 iMac with high sierra. I was able to get it to boot in recovery, I erased the drive, then tried to reinstall macOS, then I'm getting this error. I've tried resetting the date and making sure wifi is working. I'd like to try your solution but my windows keyboard won't let me reboot it in the recovery that you suggested. I'm pressing the command key and the alt key on this keyboard and the screen boots with a circle and line through it. Any thoughts?
I have a similar issue with my 2011 imac. The new screen won't pop up, I just get the same old version. I also get an "unrecognized command" when I try to synch the time in the terminal. Not sure if this vid was for newer Macs only. I wish I created a boot disk before reformatting.

for some reason when i go to the new recovery i tried to connect to any of the networks but nothing meaning no networks are showing up
