Thanks
I’m surprised you were surprised 😯. So, you were not contacted before your image/video was used? Kinda like that pic of Moroccan henna powder that was used and mislabeled in the Green Beauty video. 🤷🏽♀️. In this video, I learned that Amla is not indigenous to Africa.

Yes I believe she may be. But what people mean and what is clear for standards are different and causes so much confusion. Just because something is natural doesn't make it organic. Because the word organic is used to loosely. Organic should rally be that a product is organically certified. Brands can't make organic claims because USDA will get them. We've had to make sure of that.
Yes, this is exactly what Green Beauty meant. Her channel is based on the science of things so we understand that she is referring to the compound makeup.
Green beauty is not stealing your picture its called 'fair use' same as you using her video in your video she isn't selling your photo to people or claiming it as her own.

Sadly that "organic certification" isn't as honest or reliable. Some companies that do not have the OC certification can be more organic than some companies that have the OC certification.
Yeah...I tried making my own Amla oil using those hard dried fruits. It takes a lot of heating to even come close to re-hydrating them without scorching the oil.
I watch your channel 😊it’s great. Amla is an amazing herb, it’s in my weekly regime .if you use it you won’t be disappointed. Hennasooq herbs are the best.

Just to let you know organic is just another way to say natural. Not the way you are thinking. People say they want their relationship to develop organically, which means naturally. Many words can be used with different meaning.
But the words organic and natural don’t actually hold the same meaning. Not even close to a synonym. It can be natural, but she explained that it doesn’t mean it’s organic. So like she said, she knows people use it as if it’s the same, - doesn’t mean it’s accurate. If it’s like that then people are using it wrongly in my eyes. Most words can be used with different meaning, but what you’re basically trying to say is that they have the same meaning, but they don’t actually have all that much in common from what I know.
@@cookiedho In the “whyte” folks dictionary, no they do mean anywhere near the same thing. However, in the AAVE (African American Vernacular English) organic is going with the flow, not forced, “natural”.
I agree that yes, personally, when it comes to henna, I don't differentiate between natural and organic. However, I acknowledge that there is a difference. Organic means that something is grown without pesticides, which upon consumption can get into the bloodstream. However, there are some foods/plants that are grown without pesticides (no need) and amla/need is one of them. Which means that in these cases, it makes no difference in the product if it is certified organic or not - as far as I can tell anyway.
The Dabur Amla Oil smells like a dirty gas station bathroom. I tried it one time and the smell stayed in my hair for days, no matter what I used to wash. Absolutely disgusting. Sadly it’s the only oil a available in my country. I’ll try it on my nails but I’m afraid of the smell.
Just wanted to add here as I saw a comment thread I missed from a year ago, but it was talking about organic versus natural. Natural and organic when it comes to products and herbs are very different. You know if you use the word organic or organically certified the USADA will come after you and your business. I know because they did. The term organic is a serious word/claim and it must be USDA approved to not mislead people. Organic products MUST meet the organic standards and certification. We're not just saying organic just to say it's natural. We're saying it's organic when it's actually organically certified and follows the organic standards of growth, development and procedures. Natural does not always mean organic. This is the way as a company we approach it. Not just to tell you it's organic cause it's natural but because it's really organically certified. It's a real thing and a real standard. USDA runs it as well as ecocert etc....and many other organic certifications. You cannot SLAP organic or a organic logo on a product and call it a day. the USDA will find you (and possible fine you)! Do not mislead people. It's important and I hope this clarifies natural versus organic.
I'm older and fighting gray hair, so I do a combo that works for me and natural. Black sesame seeds, black tea for dye and amla oil. It takes a little bit of time but I'm in love like my hair is amazing now.
Sense greenbeauty used it in an informational video i believe it would be considered fair use. I highly doubt she knew it was your video. She probably looked up pictures of Amla powder and saw this. The photos that I take are not in the public domain or not assigned to the public by me for use by the public. The photos I take are my property and they probably end put in the public domain because people take them off google and just go ahead and use them without permission and sometimes not really realizing. My curly hair tends to be very dry but every time I use any kind of oil on my hair it makes my hair feel so greasy. Maybe I wasn't using it right but it has made me run the other way anytime someone shows hair oils!
Don't go by the curl pattern solely when choosing hair products. To determine if you need heavy or light oil application, go by the diameter of your hair strands. In other words, are your strands fine, medium or course. If you have fine strands, a lot of oil in your hair will wear it down, especially if your density aka amount of strands soer follicle is low. Density is about the thickness of your hair. If your hair is thick with fine strands. You can use an oil but lean towards light oils and don't apply too much.
Love this video!! And I just think that organic in this context means "derived from living matter" not certified organic. Definitely want to try the Amla Oil.
Does the certificate make it more organic. It doesn't make sense to me. I get my Moringa from my farm and process it from beginning to end in it's natural form myself. Does it make it less organic cos it's not certified, I don't agree with you on this.
I just visited my local Indian market for the first time to gather ingredients for my first time using henna products in this transition. I am just so excited to learn and use this particular product now!!! EDIT: Your personality is everything and my main reason I will only use Henna Sooq products. Just a phenomenal person and a brand I can truly support and trust.
People should definitely do a allergy test to amla. I used the powdered form and I have 2 big patches in my nape area because it irritated my scalp and took my hair with it.
Do you sell it ? I bought Alma powder off of Amazon and mixed it with olive oil . My hair is fine and I cut it off in a pixie. But now Im growing it out . It seems like the day I do it , the hair looks dry . But as the days go by it gets better . I want to try and grow my hair back to my waste . Can you recommend what I should buy and do , for faster hair growth and less breakage .
I just want to say that as much as I love what being conscientious about using 'clean' products has done for my hair and body, I do not appreciate green washing. I understand how you feel about the dabur amla oil and to a large extent, I share your thoughts on it. However, in India, purchasing power is not what it is in the US. So if they make it more affordable by mixing in some silicones, I do not think that it is necessarily a bad thing. Pure amla oil can be quite expensive. I think instead of shaming these companies, more effort can be done to educate consumers which is what you do on your channel - and it is something I really appreciate.
It's really important to use the right amla oil(and not some toxic cheap sh*t).. I personally use the amla oil from khadi.. And my hair.. GREW so fast!! I don't say it makes you hair grow always "faster" but it probably helps it grow in the fastest way possible
In my experience Dabur and Vatika oils had strong chemical-like odors and they always ended up in the trash. I will be adding your alma oil to my cart for my next Henna Sooq order.
I used to use an amla oil similar to the one the girl in the video used. It may have been the same, but the packaging was different. I stopped using it because something seemed wrong about the consistency, like it was oily, but it didn’t seem right somehow. I use a lot of oils (almond, olive, castor, I’ve even used canola oil in my hair) but that just felt off for some reason. I want to try your amla oil one day.
So glad I found this video, one of my favorite youtubers Curly Proverbs is the one who introduced me to the brand & so far I love everything I've purchased. I will try this amla oil next. Thanks for all the info.
Serious question: I am trying to lighten my hair at the moment Will your product, the Amal Oil (not the Dabur as I know it will) darken my hair over time I really don’t want that, but I do want the benefits of your product Please and thank you 😊
i don't understand why using the name moroccan henna pawder because henna is not moroccan you find it in india, north Africa (Algeria, Tunisia, Libya and arabian peninsula
Hi. I used the Red Raj henna and used your aloe vera power tip to combat henna dryness. Also, I love your camelia seed oil tip after my henna treatments. I've made a henna and sidr tea for weekly maintenance. Questions: 1. I'm contemplating HennaSooq's amla oil and powder. Can I expect a slight darkening of my efforts with the red raj with amla use? 2. Any new products on the horizon? I'd love to order some arappu powder. Tnks,
I used that amla oil in the video that girl used and I had a real bad reaction to it I love use amla powder and make my own amla oil my hair is very picky about oils even some sesame seed oils I have a reaction too plus I can add other powders to increase the benefits
I have used amla and agree with everything. However, I don't agree with you saying cheap things are a big turn off. In fact, I always used dabur and It worked wonders on me.

If you would get straight amla oil you wouldn’t need to cover the the added scents. Hello quit being cheap you get what you pay for. If it has more than amla and base oil DO NOT BUY IT. This is my mantra…. Do you but understand you are opening yourself up to putting bad/unhealthy additives on you hair and scalp (which gives it access to your body). 💙
I have a question for older women with salt and pepper hair. I have a lot of white/grey hair on the top of my head and it is past my shoulders. I heard Amla oil with darken hair, what will it do to my grey/white hair. I also heard green dye is added to my oil, will the dye turn my grey/white hair green? Also is the Amla fruit edible?
I mixed shikakai and ghassoul clay I don’t think they mix well had an odour like mouldy and had like white moisture drops in between when I washed my hair tried a sample now my scalp is soo itchy 😒
Hello, I have short wavy/curly hair and it’s damaged from bleaching and coloring. What products would you recommend for me to use to grow and heal my hair from the damage?
Greetings. I have so far enjoyed your material. I happened to have learned about this brand through She rea Del Sol and planned to try. I also watch Green Beauty for really great and extremely helpful advice and anyone watching this and hearing the word stolen in regards to something in her video is off-putting. Just as you are using her video as informational, she has used your picture in the same fashion-informational. You have both used the internet
Anyone else cringe when she was aggressive rubbing on the hair! Everyone in the long hair community and people trying to get more healthy hair knows that you never ever do that. Thank you for reacting to this and bringing this to attention. Also the education on Amla is very much appreciated!
Hello. Create a spritz to moisten hair strands as needed or use as an overnight treatment by applying it to your hair overnight and washing it out in the morning.
The cost doesn’t matter if it’s coming from another country. I realized living in the Middle East that all countries aren’t money hungry. I purchased my Dabur Amla oil in Kuwait and Dubai and never paid more than $4-5 dollars. I went into sticker shock when I had to purchase it online.
Can I get Amla oil at my local Indian market? I have tons of them in my vicinity. Is it also safe to assume it's 100% Amla? I want to use Amla and Methi
I am worried, I really wanted to try amla oil but dont want my hair to darken. My hair is naturally strawberry blonde and dont want to lose the color, but want the benefits of amla and shikakai (i hear also can darken hair). So far I am just looking to camelia (i think thats the spelling?) oil, fenugreek powder, zizyphus, so on... but amla and shikakai seem to be key ingredients but can darken my hair color i really like
Melanin is something you have to already have. So it restores the melanin of dark hair. It can’t add melanin to hair that already lacks it. So people with blonde hair don’t have to worry about darkening.
Hmm I bought some alma powder and used it in my hair as a mask it left my hair with so many grains it was horrible to wash out😫 😂 I wanna give alma another chance but I’ve heard it can ruin your hair is that true ???
Use a sieve to sift the powder before use. I learnt the hard way as well. Most Ayurvedic powders need to be sifted before use in a mask. It's time consuming and a bit of labour, but you'll be happier with the smoothness of the powder once they've been shifted. This goes especially for fenugreek powder as well.
You should use it in moderation. You can do the mask one or twice a month. Start with once a month to get used to it and add honey and oil to it. I prefer my water to be warm when mixing.
Since Amla is a nut powder, it can be more difficult to wash out. Try mixing it with a conditioner or an herb that has more slip, it will make it much easier to remove!
@@HennaSooq New sub, liked and commented, can alma powder be mixed with organic aloa vera gel, hope the alma will be washed out without leaving some particles.thanks in anticipation

EDIT: Your personality is everything and my main reason I will only use Henna Sooq products. Just a phenomenal person and a brand I can truly support and trust.
aaawwww thank you !!!! :)
Yes she is funny
People should definitely do a allergy test to amla. I used the powdered form and I have 2 big patches in my nape area because it irritated my scalp and took my hair with it.
I'm sorry sweetie. Thanks for the advice.
Glad I read this before I put it on! Thank you I’ll def try this
On the box I have it says to do a patch test first, and wait 24 hrs for a reaction.
The organic amla powder I use is edible and is bright green, similar to henna.
Can you use Amla oil if you don't want to darken your hair ? I have hair loss but don't want to darken my silver hairs.
Can you mix powered Alma with water or some kind of oil and put it in a spray bottle? It seems like I saw this on UTUBE.
Hello. You may refer to this video to help you with Spritz and oil infusion: th-cam.com/video/i-Fe5kd_KaU/w-d-xo.html
Had to subscribe and start shopping on your site!! What your doing is amazing XD I am so excited for the Amla Oil to be back in stock!!
Hello. Thank you! In about 6-8 weeks when the Amla Oil comes in.
It's really important to use the right amla oil(and not some toxic cheap sh*t).. I personally use the amla oil from khadi.. And my hair.. GREW so fast!! I don't say it makes you hair grow always "faster" but it probably helps it grow in the fastest way possible
Hey where to buy it :)
Were can I buy hun
In my experience Dabur and Vatika oils had strong chemical-like odors and they always ended up in the trash. I will be adding your alma oil to my cart for my next Henna Sooq order.
I used to use an amla oil similar to the one the girl in the video used. It may have been the same, but the packaging was different. I stopped using it because something seemed wrong about the consistency, like it was oily, but it didn’t seem right somehow. I use a lot of oils (almond, olive, castor, I’ve even used canola oil in my hair) but that just felt off for some reason. I want to try your amla oil one day.
Don’t use oils that contain Mineral oil as ingredient. Most of oils are. Better buy Amla powder and make your own oil.
I have grey hair so can I use amps and salami on my hair
Am l a and s h a k a k I powder
Hello! Yes, you may do so
Okay. DOES THIS DYE YOUR HAIR? or. Does it just return your natural hair colour to what it was before you went gray???
I need the hair growth as I have thin scalp hair from pcos but don't want to darken my hair
our amla oil doesn't typically darken hair strands. We might recommend one masks from the Henna Bar Collection.
I have PCOS and use Henna sooq. I love cassia and Zizyphus for volume and thickening my hair. Also love the hibiscus powder for shine.
@@khadijadawncarryl4845 What if we want it to darken hair? Does the powder darken hair?
Can I leave it in my hair with out washing it out ?
I absolutely love your informative videos!🥰
So glad I found this video, one of my favorite youtubers Curly Proverbs is the one who introduced me to the brand & so far I love everything I've purchased. I will try this amla oil next. Thanks for all the info.
Serious question:
I am trying to lighten my hair at the moment
Will your product, the Amal Oil (not the Dabur as I know it will) darken my hair over time
I really don’t want that, but I do want the benefits of your product
Please and thank you 😊
Also by the way I ordered your Amla oil there :)
i don't understand why using the name moroccan henna pawder because henna is not moroccan you find it in india, north Africa (Algeria, Tunisia, Libya and arabian peninsula
Tnks,
With ours no we have not seen any darkening effects. We do have new products and just added two new hair rhassoul masks.
Hi i like learning about different oils, and would you ever show us your hair? please.
Sorry love, no. Thanks for asking though. Respect
Why did you not show how to use the powder?
I used that amla oil in the video that girl used and I had a real bad reaction to it I love use amla powder and make my own amla oil my hair is very picky about oils even some sesame seed oils I have a reaction too plus I can add other powders to increase the benefits
Not necessarily cheap is espensive, coconut oil is cheap but works well
I have used amla and agree with everything. However, I don't agree with you saying cheap things are a big turn off. In fact, I always used
dabur and It worked wonders on me.
I purchased some amla, not from your site of course, and it was green in color. Can amla not be green?
It's not supposed to be unless there's dye in it.
@@khadijadawncarryl4845 ok I need to look at the ingredients because I was wondering when I would see some amla that was brown and other that was green. Thank you. That’s why now for the most part I get my herbs & powders from your site!!
Why is she using this girls video tear it up. It would have been better for her to make her own truth video instead of tearing up somebody else's. Put the work in if you have the knowledge.
Can you put amla oil on your eyebrows
If you would get straight amla oil you wouldn’t need to cover the the added scents. Hello quit being cheap you get what you pay for. If it has more than amla and base oil DO NOT BUY IT. This is my mantra…. Do you but understand you are opening yourself up to putting bad/unhealthy additives on you hair and scalp (which gives it access to your body). 💙
Yes so true!! :)
Thank you for clarifying the difference between natural and organic.
Welcome and thank you!
So you are using GreenBeauty's stuff but you got a problem with her using your content. That's not right! You seem to just dislike her.
Following ! ☝️
I’m doing my first henna sooq treatment today just got my stuff in the mail ❤️
yeah!!!!
Do you have an UK base selling point?
If you order on their website they do deliver to the uk and i have seen them on the uk website naturalisticproducts
@@lowkeymoon3349 thank you!!!
Thank you for making sure that we got correct and accurate information. This means very much to me. ❤️👍🏼👏
It's not that serious when you understand what she's saying and not searching for a controversy. 🤥
@@NormalizeNotBeingaVictim out of all the post basically saying the same thing. You’ve picked mine to comment on🤔. Have a blessed one dear
@@ancestorbackforthelasttime you're an odd one.
Anyone else cringe when she was aggressive rubbing on the hair! Everyone in the long hair community and people trying to get more healthy hair knows that you never ever do that. Thank you for reacting to this and bringing this to attention. Also the education on Amla is very much appreciated!
For how long should i keep amla oil in my hair?
Hello. Create a spritz to moisten hair strands as needed or use as an overnight treatment by applying it to your hair overnight and washing it out in the morning.
@@HennaSooq okay thank youuu❤️❤️
Hi, can I add Amla powder to my hair oil?
Hello. You can shop on our website here: hennasooq.com/
I really want to sleep with the oil in my hair But I don’t want the scent stain on my pillow🥺
Can I leave the oil in my hair ? Do I have to wash it out the next day ?
Can I get Amla oil at my local Indian market? I have tons of them in my vicinity. Is it also safe to assume it's 100% Amla? I want to use Amla and Methi
Really amazing this amla oil. I am in Cameroon, how can I have amla oil? Any distribution center in Cameroon, please?
So, can the Amla leaves be crushed into powder, and still get the same green coloring; or is that not considered Amla processing?
I sleep with amla oil and wash hair in the morning. What do you thing?
Hello. Yes, you may do so!
Wow this video is amazing , I really feel like it hit every important thing you should know before getting into this I appreciate this video so much!
I love that most of your powders are organic!
thank you so much!
I was following you for a while. I was wondering how i can purchase some of your products. Thank you
Hello. You can shop on our website: hennasooq.com/. We ship worldwide!
It's ok if amla overnight..?
Does sesame oil cause dandruff?
I really enjoyed your video! First time watching & new subbie!! Now I need to place my order for the Amla oil 😉
Welcome!!
Can Amla powder be added in with my shampoo?
I love Green Beauty
I need to try this oil I’m so uncomfortable with my hair
I don’t think I will try this, because I love my salt and pepper hair, I don’t won’t to darken my hair to black.
