I'm starting an herbal and medicinal tea garden this year. I think you should add holy basil, purple basil, spicy Saber basil. They'll make great teas.
I love lemon verbena for tea. It’s so delicious!! I do a mix of mint, lemon verbena and lemon thyme. Stevia is great for adding sweetness. I usually only add a leaf or two max. Oregano is also good for coughs and sore throats. Herbal tea gardens are the best! You can try overwintering the lemon verbena too in your green house. I buy it every year and think it’s a bit expensive for the size of plant you get.
Meanwhile I'm over here trying to figure out what to do with the Hop plant I bought from a brewery two weeks ago. Hang in there little guy, I'll get you outta of the kitchen and into the ground soon... Great content, I can't wait to see how your tea garden grows.
lemongrass tea is really good too.
I need to find some to propagate from the grocery store!
I totally get the weekly “coffee-milk” thing. My garden has a lot of “tea” additions this year.
I’m glad I’m not alone 😅

Aw yes amazing!! 💚💚
I am so inspired to start a tea garden after watching this! Thank you beautiful lady! 💚✨🌸
I'm so glad!
Those beds look great! :)
The best 🙌
Try Roselle. It may be a bit late this year but it's gorgeous and makes wonderful tea.
Hibiscus is going to have to sub in for roselle this year for me!

Will definitely try to overwinter it! They do get pricey
I love pineapple sage it’s sooo pretty and it does get huge
I can’t wait to see it take off!
In my area, rosemary can. Be a huge shrub- constantly trimmed and as tall as me and about 5 feet wide.
Yes!! It doesn’t do well as a perennial here due to the cold winters we get, so I’ve never had it get that large

Ohhh hops are so pretty but HUGE. happy growing!
Do you like mint tea? I think peppermint tea is nicer than regular mint. Ginger too
I do, but it’s not usually my first choice! I usually do mint plus something else
Love this! Have you thought about adding some mint?
Thanks! I have mint growing elsewhere in pots but don’t like to plant it in beds since it spreads so easily 💚
I did a tea area too (with hibiscus I grew from seed)!
I love the white chairs! Where are they from? (Or what are they called so I can google around?)
Amazing!! The chairs are from ikea 💚 I think the name is Hogsten
You should give chicory a try if you miss coffee
👍👌
🙌
I'm not sure if ornamental hibiscus 🌺 is for tea. I thought the red-leafed variety was the edible type.
It’s true roselle is the one usually used for tea but almost all hibiscus is edible 💚
