60 Christmas Cards From A 6x6 Paper Pad! | Card Making Process | Pebbles Merry Little Christmas

  • Yes, I really made 60 cards with one 6x6 paper pad. I know - what was I thinking?!
    In this video I'm sharing my process of making 60 different Christmas cards using the Pebbles Merry Little Christmas 6x6 Paper Pad, as well as some of the other products from the collection - including ephemera and stickers. Outside of these products I've kept this project simple, using no stamps, dies or embellishments - just double sided tape, foam tape and twine, as well as my basic kraft and white card bases.
    The Merry Little Christmas collection is a couple years old now and unfortunately no longer available, but I hope this video still provides you with some inspiration for busting your own stash!

    Late to the game here, but I LOVE this version. I also watch Kristi Marcotte and Jess Crafts. Yours is very refreshing. No 2 cards are the same. You don't use a template and just wing it. I love that. TFS!

    Just genius covering the “hole” in the strip on the top of the paper! I get annoyed when it is not long enough because of the hole! Also, nice to hear you talk about having “too much” sometimes makes the struggle even bigger. That is truly my issue and I need to address it. Watching Kristie M., I should know just my paper and sketches! I’m going to try smashing a 6x6 because you have inspired me! I did get a giggle at Jen’s last name from a Brit attempting US pronunciation! Reminds me that I should not attempt speaking like I’m from Great Britain!

    Loved this video!! ◡̈ i love how you used all the stickers and die cuts! 😍😍😍 maybe i should buy these packs too! ❤️
    Do u recommend buying various materials from the same set? So they are all matchy?
    What kind of cardstock did u use? The layering sheets was also from this set?
    Loved how you put them together! Did u plan out what u would for which cards first or do the planning on the spot?

    • @metababycow
      @metababycow  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so much!! I think it's a great option for a bit of a change, or for anyone new getting into cards, definitely.
      It was quite satisfying using everything from the same set, I think it's definitely a plus if you aren't too confident (maybe working with a new style) but you can often mix and match different bits as well. I try to not buy full collections but it's hard not to sometimes 😂
      I used some heavyweight Kraft and white cardstock - 220gsm I think? Just for the card bases. I just buy whatever I can find that's good value haha! The Kraft pack is from The Works actually!
      Thank you so much ❤️ for some of them I sort of planned as I went, but I didn't do any sketches beforehand. Sometimes I will have one idea but the resulting card will be completely different! The more I did, the more ideas I got 😂
