Absolutely beautiful music. I was a choral, piano and violin student in university and we did a lot of this music. It is also fitting for me to see it in the Fitzalan Chapel at Arundel as my 10th great grandmother Diana Skipwith Dale, immigrant to America after 1650, was the daughter of Sir Henry Skipwith, 1st Baronet of Prestwold, Leicestershire and his first wife Amy Kempe. Both Sir Henry and Lady Skipwith were descendants of Richard Fitzalan, 3rd Earl of Arundel and his second wife Eleanor of Lancaster. Thanks for posting this video!! Much appreciated!
The most beautiful music sung beautifully. This is the first time that I've heard it sung 1 voice to a part. The bass has a wonderful voice! Thanks for posting this.
Bravo! Balance, timbre, depth, no excess or preciosity. This one's new to me. I thought I pretty much knew Tallis' choral output: I LOVE discovering unknown delights such as this.
What a gem! I don't know what Early Music ensemble has a more refined sound than Alamire. Thank you for sharing this video. I've posted it at my site and linked to your Cantiones Sacrae double-album after buying the mp3s myself. I'm selfishly hoping you will post additional scripture music works that I can feature.
This is one of my favourite of Tallis’ works, and at this pitch is even better.

This is amazing!
Those hearing this back when it was written must have thought it was the voice of God.
Amazing
Which one is the bass singer, the tall geezer on the right? He's got a great voice.
