As someone who is not in the agricultural industry, but because of family reasons has a big interest in farming, I would like to thank you Andrew for explaining what everything does, in a way that is easy to understand and follow, keep up the great work 👍🏻
Thank you, pleased you understood everything.
Thanks Andrew for stopping to talk to the wife and i at the end of today, i wasn't going to interrupt you but lisa wasnt afraid to🤣 lovely to actually meet you finally and i could listen to you talk for hours, your knowledge is amazing, hopefully one day Tom and maybe even Reuben will come on camera more 🤞 fingers crossed we meet again one day,

@@WardysWaffleAndrewWard Would have been a pleasure, many thanks for your time anyway
Brilliant absolutely loved it was attending but had surgery 2wks ago and can’t walk so ur videos have cheered me up thank you
Hope you recover soon.
For some interest, its worth it to check out Trevor Struther videos on TH-cam about combining wheat on the Palouse hill country out in Washington state.
Just type in Trevor Struthers farming in the TH-cam search box or into Google and enjoy his videos as well.
Take care.
Many Thanks ,for a great video , some great machinery on display, really enjoy, thanks.
Am informed by my brother in law who be a salesman in Brigg for Peacock and Binnington , show started at Lincs Showground in 1982..
I thought it was the early 80’s.
Thanks Andrew for good coverage of LAMMA the difference between proper stuff and toys. Saves me going!
£££££££££😂
Great update Andrew…very much enjoyed it…thank you for showing us around Lamma 👍.
Thanks for a good video...missed it this year as had to go over in our farm in Ireland but your tour was next best thing
👍😊
What a great informative video Andrew
By the far the best covering Lama
Keep up the good work you and Ronda are doing for the industry and general public !!!
Thanks Peter. We’ll do our best, lots happening.
Thank you Andrew for taking us round with you, great video.

Hi Andy, great vid mate. Some serious equipment there.
And serious £££’s!!
Good Video Andrew , was some very impressive machinery there thank you for sharing your day.
With impressive price tags!!
Great video thanks Andrew
Some more interesting videos.
Check out Trevor Struther videos on TH-cam about combining wheat on the PalOuse hill country out in Wasington state.
Just type in Trevor Struthers farming in the TH-cam search box or into Google and enjoy his videos as well.
Been on the Stands at too many NEC shows, but not agricultural. Visited LAMMA two years ago and my feet ached for days after - can't do concrete floors so thanks very much for the tour.
Any thing interesting machinery wise coming this year Andrew great videos cheers
Not that I know of.
Cor! Some amazing technology there, really interesting, thanks for the video… the New Holland CR11 looks like a beast!
It does, with a beast of a price tag!
Hi Andrew, do you now feel that this wet season has brought out the limitations of minimal till drilling?, I still believe you need to get the spade out and decide if going in deeper to open the sub structure has a place in all rotations? Good to see you have been cultivating as I drove by today. Keep up the good work
There’s min till and what we do with the solo, min till and a deeper tine. I’m sure we’ll be ok and our soils are beginning to dry.
We’ve just been dragging on the frost.
Totally missed the strimek stand
Relatively new subscriber here and I very much enjoy your videos.
I can never completely judge the vibe of lamma. It seems to be predominantly the younger generation who think it's cool having the biggest possible machines to speed around on attending . But then there's also a good percentage of other generations who are more science and practicality based.
It's an interesting and contrasting mix on which you could make many predictions regarding the future of farming in the UK.
Welcome! Look at updates 64,65 and 66, they show the layout of the farm, machinery and how we operate.
Good evening Andrew a nice you tube channel like this very much
Thank you.
Hello Andrew, I spoke (ranted) to you at the Bailey stand about young people getting opportunities in the industry. I have only been in the farming industry through Farming Simulator and three years of studying and trying to find my feet, I have so much belief in the industry and am frustrated when experience is more valuable than a will to work. Many apologies and I enjoy your videos.
Thank you. It’s difficult I appreciate, and I agree you have to do some work to get experience but if you’re not given a chance. ☹️
Very interesting video, love your explanation of things, great show.
👍😊
Great video Andrew
😊👍
Good one Andrew
Informative as ever, Andrew! Can you give an update on Red Tractor? I noticed that there appears to be some activity going on, as ever, your view will help considerably! Thank you.
Hello John. It’s NFU Council next week so I’ll wait until I’ve been to that because it’s on the agenda.
Cracking video Andrew at lamma, one thought though with the strimech bucket? Why not just put the sharks teeth blade in the fertiliser spinner or drill and save the expense off the bucket?
The bags would have to go to the field or the machine come back to the yard. I suppose they think it saves time.
Well yes I spose, I can see there thinking behind it mate.
Did you look the Zurn ? (in the background at of your vid) It cuts/collects blackgrass heads and I thought of you when we looked at it. 👍
I can’t think of a machine which is more of a waste of money!! With Blackgrass . You have to achieve 97% control to standstill! I know from pulling Blackgrass, there is as many ears below the wheat crop than there is above and that machine won’t touch the ones below. Also the tractor pulling it will run down the crop and put more black grass out of reach. I would love to find someone who uses one to compare to our method of hand roguing.
A great video Andrew I just wish I could go, but I have to just settle for the agri link magazine as I just an unable to leave the farm all day because of livestock.
I really feel for you livestock boys. ☹️
@@WardysWaffleAndrewWard thank you Andrew, with winter rains it’s a daily grind, and I don’t have a straw chopper to help me winter can be very work.
Roll on the better weather so you can turn your cattle out and give you a break.
good video ANDREW
Great footage Andrew 🚜🚜

👌👍😊
I hope that wasn’t a farmer fly tipping the bottle in that bucket Andrew 🙆♂️
Vining peas from field to factory is 150 minutes.
Thank you.
Imo, I don’t think you have much to gain by rushing to swap fastrac & case, both nearly zero depreciation at the moment and far less electronics than anything newer. Make do and mend a bit longer
I do tend to agree. Both only do less than 300 hours a year. We changed the quad for the RX and swapped the sprayer the last 2 years, both those do more hours than anything and the Quadtrac had a big influence on cost of prod because if it’s high fuel use and the sprayer was 10 years old and unreliable.
@@WardysWaffleAndrewWard I agree with those two, they also carry out the three important operations: drilling, spaying, fertiliser application etc which are the three main areas to benefit from having modern technology and precision, including gps, variable rate etc. You will be able to claim £27/ha for variable rate fertiliser through SFI from the summer.
@farmertomwilko I saw that. There’s a few SFI things which we’ll be able to claim.

Hi Andrew, can you explain to me why you expect the Briish consumer to buy your food that you produce when You fill your yard with foreign crap l8e Manitou? Andrew when there is a fantastic British firm like JCB that’s why British Agriculture is in the state thar because you all trade double standards
Fill our yard?!!! 😂😂 Because JCB don’t do a 4 ton, 10m machine. I’ll buy British all the time if the machine is comparable
I have spoke to JCB and they will fulfil any of your knees. Sorry you have told me this before, but they do
Next time going to the supermarket, I will be buying that sugar that comes from abroad. It's just the same
@HHBRAD 3.6 ton not 4
You buy what you like, it’s called freedom of choice
Lord muck about??🤔
Do t know what he looks like.
