Thank you Sean for another great tour! It was quite interesting that the Leah Zippeliana lost its pattern as the leaves became larger. Also, Jay from Plantophila was so informative. And the way he carried his Medinilla by hand to the show…such dedication!💚
Sean, you are trullu Thoughtful and Thorough as a guide and commentaor for providing rare background details of plants and contact info of retail participants even elaborating description items they themselves miss for the sake of plant lovers to access that many vloggers would not have filled us in. You are No. 1 🏆🥇
Awesome to see so many young people immersed in the plant world! Incredible place to be and thanks for sharing in your video. Your hard work producing them is much appreciated. Got to see a large Strongylodon macrobotrys vine in bloom at McKee Botanic Garden in Vero Beach, Florida. Spectacular!! Didn’t believe the color of the flowers really existed until I saw them in person. So many creative growers and potters!
Thanks Sean...another great video. So many beautiful plants. I have a Tiny Dancer..slow grower for me. Also have a Jade vine..surprised to hear they're difficult to propogate..will have to give it a try. 😊
Amazing show! It would be a dream of mine to visit one of these someday. The mini bonsai are actually called Mame for the extra tiny ones and Shohin for slightly larger styling forums. Thanks so much for the tour, it was really amazing! 👍
Welcome back to SG. Nice and (somewhat) peaceful video which I adored. That Philippines gentleman mentioned about difficulty to propagate this certain plant to "propagation king" to which he said "really?" 😊
I'll be visiting this year so I hope there's something on while I'm there!!! Pity I can't bring them back home with me to Australia but it'll be a nice feast for my eyes hehe 😆 Thanks for sharing it with us Sean ☺🙏🏼
In my recent bangkok episode, they have become very very cheap due to tissue culture. I have a feeling you should be able to find affordable ones in your plant store soon
@@onlyplants thanks for the heads up. In that case, I will definitely be going to Bkk on Oct 5 and 6 for the next exotic plants show to check out all the goodies in store. Hope to catch u there🙂
The Alocasia tiny dancer isn’t easy to care for in my opinion, I tried two different ways and they both ended up repropogating in water and even then died down to 1 leaf for months before I gave up Those caladiums at the first booth are everywhere here in south western Canada, they’re not cheap, but abundant, they go dormant here in winter or die so we treat them more like annuals
very nice video lovely plants as always, i find it funny how they don't want people to know what's in their water with the organic fert hehe, Here in NZ they have to divulge what things are added most of those ferts are mostly water its almost the next get rich scheme lol. Keep up the great work bud. Hope you found your Mum.
@@onlyplants Yeah Seaweed is a great organic ingredient. maybe some worm casting juice hehe. watered down plenty so never burns the leaves but helps green it up at the same time, to be honest if people are trying to save the environment they should look into the true costs. Just shipping these product around the world doing more damage to the environment and most of these products are 80 percent water. would make more sense to sell a more concentrated form with less weight and storage being flown all around the world being less damaging, I'm not getting at people for running a business but a lot of people seem to be doing this these days so many little popup fert companies with their claims to wonder foods when they are all the exact same product with a different name, I Just Believe as a plant grower people should be more aware and concerned about what's in the product, and spare a thought on how much more effort goes into flying millions of litres of water around the water when it should be sold more as a concentrate its really stupid when you look at the logistics.
Hey Sean, I am thinking about doing a show similar to that in the Cayman Islands. We don’t have that many variety as I see there in Singapore. Is there a way we could link up and have you help us with plants and planning. Let me know My name is Kirk
I dont think Im qualified to advice on plant shows as I am usually just a spectator. It might be wise to gather the suppliers (sellers and nurseries) list first to see who would be up for it. Then the rest is all about marketing and finding high foot traffic area (and a holiday). Hope this helps
Haiz... nothing really new with concepts of gardening in Singapore. When I was still living in Singapore growing food anywhere was just myself and Bjorn low.
Haha yes but also its a public holiday, the area I was in was actually the office towers so normally we would have seen very uptight dressy people instead
Thank you Sean for another great tour!

Great content t!! ❤ May I know which plant show is this and if it’s held on a yearly basis in Singapore?
Theres a massive plant show happening in July if Im not wrong. Much bigger than this one. Unfortunately I havent got much info
Amazing 😍
Thank you ❤️
It was cool to see the wild version of the ZZ plant! Wow! I have to admit . . . as pretty as the wild version is, I prefer my bulbous boy at home. ^^
Haha they have been selectively bred to please us more. Think of the original dog species and all the bred varieties we love today 😀😀
@@onlyplants I wonder if they bred it with philo Fat Boy? Is that possible?
Very very beautiful
Thank you ❤️
Amazing show
Thank you ❤️
Great!!!!❤❤❤

Have any water soluble fertizer in Singapore???? 🤔🤔🤔
Im sure there must be!
Another great place to spend waaay to much money😆🤩
Haha yes. The sellers were so knowledgeable its hard to resist too!
Why do they look like they need water..is the event outdoor?
Yes and it was very windy day 🫣
Will go there on August 🥰
If you are coming to Singapore in August you might want to check out the Singapore Garden Festival, happening at Suntec (3 - 11 August 2024).
❤️❤️
Thank you, this is so helpful

Thank you. I would imagine their key ingredients would be the selling point but perhaps they were more worried about competition

How can I have those plants in India,is there any option
You will need a business import license to bring in plants into India legally. Its not an easy country to receive international plants 🙈
