Red Roof Hotels are not only “pet friendly” (allow pets in the room) but, pet owner friendly (they don’t charge an extra fee for the pets to stay)!

What if you're wanting to buy inventory at various locations and have no idea where you're liable to end up at the end of each day? Depending on the areas I'd be in, there might be one store or twenty. So, I don't know if I'd be in one location for thirty minutes or most of the day.

I always recommend calling the hotels directly and asking, have done it this way for a long time, even at 8pm

So it's best to call hotels. I also learned that the hard way. Stupid question but That includes Oyo places too, right?

I think OYO would be the exception - since you can book online and check yourself in. That's a good tip, thanks for bringing that up, because they are all over the place now, even in rural areas. No stupid questions here!

We tried a trip with no hotels booked in 2019. What a mistake! We have 5 people in the family and it’s hard to find hotels on the fly.
