Without your video, I wouldn't have had a clue how to assemble my fire, as the instructions that come with the fire are dire and unprofessional. I can't believe someone thought the format of the instruction booklet was suitable to send out with these fires!

Thank you. I was struggling with my new fire. Your tip on ensuring the transducer cable was clicked away was how my fire began to work. That's not in my instruction booklet! I've subscribed to your channel and will follow the cleaning in two weeks.

This video is excellent! We've had our Optimyst for a week and are very happy with it. We have enjoyed the flame effect, but having tinkered with our setup slightly having followed your vid (i.e. making sure the black wire is well away from the transducer white disc), the flames are ten times better! Brill!

@@kristinesharp6286 I’ve probably replaced our transponder four times and fan three times in six years. They could make them last a bit longer. @@LivinganOrganisedLife hopefully that will improve performance and require less cleaning. I recently myself learned of this type of water usage for a new electric boiler I'm installing. High alkaline water, filtered or not causes deposits. I learned the minerals need to be removed all together and deionized is exactly that.

Hi Petra, yes it does make a noise. When you have the heater on it makes a fan heater noise. If you only have the mist on it makes an intermittent noise when the water flows down from the tank 😊

Have you changed the transducer disc or the whole thing? If you replaced the whole thing, check the wire is not blocking the transducer and there’s plenty of water in the bottom tank. If the fire is still shutting off it might be an electrical problem. Is it under warranty?
