Just if someone wants to know: Leap years are once every 4 years, unless the year is a multiple of 100 (basically we skip it if it ends in 00) but there is another rule, if its a multiple of 400 we skip the previous rule and it becomes a leap year again (that's why 2000 was a leap year but 1900 wasn't and 2100 won't be either). So when jo said of all the leap years he has lived none were skipped, well its technically true.
and that type of shit is why coding datetime stuff is a complete nightmare. there's also some years that just randomly have days or even months cut off from when we corrected stuff

Last episode we got a better glimpse of who Jacob is as a character, and if there’s one thing he’s terrible at, it’s reading other people. He thinks he can run the game just because he’s annoying enough to win them over, but to what end? Someone like him is just as likely to get voted out at the merge as him, and even if he doesn’t, there are better aligned tribes who are better positioned to take over after that.
new horizons is definitely the BEST animal crossing. being able to place furniture outside and having full control of your island makes it so much better.
imo thats part of what makes it worse. what i liked abt the older animal crossing games was that the game happened around you and you were just trying to fit in. being in complete control like that takes away a lot of the charm, like at that point just play minecraft or something. being able to put stuff outside is cool but it doesnt serve the "fish out of water" theme of the games. itd be different if the villagers would also place their own decor outside, and maybe got angry if you tried to move it, then itd feel more like a living town. the villagers should have all the power the player does, it makes them feel more real

It is a HUGE PAIN to customize the island, you gotta wait a FULL DAY to move a single house, and you gotta commit hard when terraforming because it's gonna take you full on hours and it will probably look like shit, also it takes so much to build bridges and ramps, and they cut out so much quirky fun the older games had and a lot of the neat items you could get. I wish they let you take an aerial view and just terraform it like god or some shit, or something because as it is I don't want to deal with it.

I was hoping this was going to be a video of just them fucking around in the mii creator, and I think it would’ve been very funny if they uploaded a video of that saying it was for mii brawler and gunner and then actually using those miis but still with the masks that completely cover their face
I, to this day, will never understand people who allegedly "enjoy" fighting against snake. The character's entire playstyle revolves around putting garbage all over the stage so YOU don't get to move around it the way you want to. You have to play a patient, defensive, slow game on his terms until he messes up and does something to let you in. It is in no way fun. You hit him and he pulls a grenade, you explode. Grenade is the fastest counter in the game, one of the best out of shield options in the game (literally you can hit them while shielding), and on top of that is an extremely versatile projectile and trap option. That's not even getting into nikita edgeguarding, the fact he has way better up close options than he needs like up tilt and dash attack, his ability to recover from virtually everywhere... this character is like if you took somebody with the mobility and frame data of ganondorf but then gave him so many stupid options that he's top tier anyways. I. Hate. Fighting. Snake.
One of my favorite apocalyptic predictions is something called the doomsday clock. Basically it’s this clock that people came up with years ago, and every year the clock’s hands move one minute, and the world ends when it hits midnight. And the reason it’s so funny is because the clock was supposed to hit midnight in 2019 but they keep moving midnight back because they say they “miscalculated”. So basically they keep lying and don’t admit it in the funniest way
The point of the doomsday clock is that it shows how close the world is to ending: *the point* is that it *can* move back if conditions improve, it’s not supposed to be predicting exactly when the world will end

you should use Flashing Mach Punch on Mii Btawler's neutral special instead of the bowling ball. You lose the camping ability of a projectile but you gain insane killpower with cool trap setups (well, you don't lay traps but you corner your oponent into getting hit by it)

One of my favorite apocalyptic predictions is something called the doomsday clock. Basically it’s this clock that people came up with years ago, and every year the clock’s hands move one minute, and the world ends when it hits midnight. And the reason it’s so funny is because the clock was supposed to hit midnight in 2019 but they keep moving midnight back because they say they “miscalculated”. So basically they keep lying and don’t admit it in the funniest way
The point of the doomsday clock is that it shows how close the world is to ending: *the point* is that it *can* move back if conditions improve, it’s not supposed to be predicting exactly when the world will end
