You got it ! Just run thru a lot of practice test to give your self a refresher once you start making 80% and above you should be ready
The key is to remember the strategy of the test . Like what makes a this math problem a problem and out of these 4 choices what makes sense .

Scored a 36 on my APT. Didn’t study for the asvab at all. Now I have 2 weeks until my next APT and I’m using asvab for dummies and I’ll use the app you mentioned in this video. I’ll come back to update my results. I need a 70 to qualify for the jobs I want. Wish me luck!
Hey I didn’t forgot about y’all. So I’m taking my APT this week on Friday. Currently it’s Monday so I got some time to continue studying. I’ve been using the app (recommended in this video), plus asvab for dummies and grammar hero. Feeling pretty confident in just 1 week of studying. Will update soon once I receive my results after I take my APT Friday.

Ight, so I did worse. Scored a 28. To be honest I didn’t use the app much. I used asvab for dummies and grammar hero. I only studied for the math and didn’t study anything else. So I’m guessing that’s where I went wrong. I’m gonna study up everything and take another APT. Imma be serious this time around cuz this back and forth bs is getting annoying. I’ll update y’all whenever I take the next one.

Hey bro how many hours a day would you recommend to study? I work full time and I was ready to quit my job at the end of this month to focus full time on joining the Navy, especially on studying and retaking the ASVAB. My original plan was to work till this month, study in January, and test in February. I’m now finding time to study a bit; before work, during my 30 minute lunch break, and after work. Even on my 2 days off I’m studying more than before. I’m only just studying GS, MK, AR, WC, and PC since the jobs that I want require those sections. Right now I’m using the 20-21 ASVAB for Dummies book and the 20-21 ASVAB test app (resembles army logo).
You doing very good man !! You sound like you’ll be alright , one thing make sure you study what you don’t know . I promise you you will be brain fried after taking the test. I usually study before bed till I get tired or finish a section cause some reason it replays more in my head like when you think of something before you fall asleep and you end up dreaming about it and you actually remember it the next day more then anything
So do you study 2 hours before you go to work or n hour b4 bc i am taking my asavb next Monday for the marine corp

No problem , work on your low scoring spots and maintain the stability in the other sections and it’ll help your over score grow

Study the first 4 categories on the actual asvab. I did good on all except vocab and paragraphs and that brought me down a lottttttt.

I got another question lol, did you have any quadratic equation questions where you do the square method ? If so how many questions were there?
I took the asvab in HS this year I made a 7
2nd go around i pass the asvab practice test with a 57 I pretty much got lucky
I went to the office take the legit test I made a 5 I was depressed
3rd now I studying the math part but i kinda in the between rather to just forget about it because I getting the same results

I took my ASVAB at my school for the coast guard and i got my scores back and the school thinks their wrong because it says i made a 2, but when I took the test i knew the test like most of it was common sense questions that there is no way i missed if any one has any suggestions please help me try to figure out what happened.
so I'm in a class right now to improve my score and they said that if you start to get easy questions it's cause you're not doing to great you want the harder questions

Use the asvab app and Quizlet make sure you write everything down and try to remember the answers or the way things work

So you passed the first time.. without passing the math portion? How did u do in your math?
No I scored low close to the minimum so I had to re test to give my self a better opportunity at a better job . What I did tho was focus on strengthening my lowest score subjects which over all boosted my combined score

I’m looking for study guide so I had a 78 on picat went for verification and failed cause of maths so I took the ASVAB and failed really bad cause I didn’t study for it so I have a month to study and pass above 31 I really want to leave high school it’s sucks I really need study guide that I’m 101% sure of passing I need help

Your overall score has to be like 30 or 32 in the Air Force , it doesn’t matter for each section but each section will justify what you will specialize in for your job

Give your self as much time as needed because you want that job you want you’ll regret not giving it more time , same with me I haven’t been to school in 2 years so the math was pretty tough but I got thru with the App breaking down everything to me , make sure you write down the math part and try it out as if you are taking the test because you will not have a calculator

Focus on the math more then anything and find little tricks to finding the answer without really having to solve it and if you suck at multiplication like I do don’t be ashamed to count out every number on your strap paper

I know if you look on Air Force website under jobs it’ll take you what score you need for a specific job but of my knowledge you qualify for a lot of super cool jobs

Depends like I focused on math and mechanics because the job I wanted and I know I would score lowest on those and it would bring my average higher

Do feel down about it. Keep studying and improve each time. I took the asvab three times already and the first two times I scored a 15 by click on things and not taking my time and the third time I scored a 25 by studying a little bit. I’m going to try and test again in March and actually take my time and read the question versus me click and rushing through
