Loved the review! I don’t think I’ll be picking this set up myself because a play scale falcon doesn’t really interest me that much. But those figures are certainly great.

Hunk of Junk, lol. It's weathered many a storm and still going strong. Great Minifigs.
I was thinking about this set because the top panels were closer together than the force awakens model making for less gaps... but it looks that this one just ended up making new gaps in other places.
Still a nice model for the price but I Guess my needs won’t be met until I drop the 800 for the UCS
I want this set!! I hope it's still available as I am still saving up for it.

That panel near the cockpit which you criticise was also my biggest disappointment. I like the panels of the older one (75105) much more. The rest of the internals and hidden compartments are great (except the weird kitchen... wth?). Also the two front parts with the spring loaders are a bit too wobbly in my opinion. I think a mix of both sets would make a really good model.

Fantastic, detailed review. A couple of things though. The Solo Falcoln also had the front/rear gunners compartment, and a coffee cup tucked away in the cockpit. Though I personally like the build/interior on the Kessel Run Falcon this is still the best play scale OT styled Falcon.
I am getting this for a YT-2400 moc since it is only a little change needed
I was gonna get this but then the tantive caught my eye.
I've found that it's a bit annoying to build but challenging for playable set. Mine was a gift from a friend and I'm building for the second time at the moment. The corridor cover from the cockpit is a pain to click into place. I'll definitely be modifying it once it's completed with the LED set for it

@@TheCoolFactor Dont mean to be rude, but for me it was to take this review seriously because the front right pannel was displayed improperly. You have to put down the pannel by the cockpit and the front right pannel down first, then you put the middle one down. As you can see, like at 0:14 it looks a little funny. Other than that it was pretty good. :)

Without having the set, from what I see on the video it seems to me that you can push the panel under the central thing and lock itself there. I see a little piece on the edge that could hold the panel from under there.
