I think the worst experience I had was working at Macy's many years ago. While I've had several jobs and bad experiences, one comes to mind. We were opened on Christmas Eve until about 8pm, normally we closed at 9 or 10. So at 7:55 a guy wanders up to my counter as I'm cleaning up my area around the register before I closed down my drawer. And he tosses down a tie and belt with this attitude. I asked if he found everything okay, and he kind of huffed at me. Then said 'I don't know why you guys are closing early, that's bad for business.' I said to him politely that is was Christmas Eve and a lot of the employees had families they'd like to spend time with. But that the company still wanted to have hours as close to normal as possible for any last minute shoppers. His response? Who the f*** cares, you guys should be working for the customers, instead of losing business. It wasn't like we were all getting commission for each sale or something. The pay rate at the time was pretty much crap. So I rang him up and with the biggest smile I could make said, 'Merry Christmas sir.' Just to annoy him for annoying me.
That is awful! Shame on him and anyone else who thinks that way! Workers are not robots who should not need to work all of the time just to earn not even a handful of money. They are living, hardworking people that deserve all the time in the world with their families for all they do!
One of the weirdest/ funniest moments I had in customer service, was when I worked at a dessert place years ago, and I was asked what comes in the milkshakes, and I was like milk, ice cream, whatever else you want, and the customer was shocked that there was MIlk in the MILKshake. My little brain could not compute hahahaha

I made them and accidentally made one slightly bigger than the other. The customer then proceeded to complain not that they weren’t the same but about how the larger one was larger??? I personally would have taken the extra ice cream but I had to make it again. Also this being when the ‘vid was really big I had to toss the perfectly fine larger ice cream 😭
For years I worked at a gas station. Rural area, close to a lake, in eastern Kentucky so that everyone knows wildlife is common. There was a program to reintroduce bears in our area. Another story. Kinda don't dumb. Anyway there was a football field sized lot next to the station. There is also a highway that runs by. One day a young bear, fully grown but young trots through this field. It attracts lookey loos and people pull off beside the road getting a look. Everyone is being pretty responsible. Not invading it's space. I was at the register and this "bruh" type guy sets down one of those bears filled with honey. I looked at him and just said "no. Not happening." He whines and goes on. Forestry workers had been called and weren't far away. I figured that they would be there before the guy could get across the parking lot so I told him I wouldn't call an ambulance and sold him the honey. He left. Police and forestry show up. I hear "Sir. Stop where you are." I look out the window behind me that has a full view of the field. That fool had made it a couple yards into the field and was pouring the honey in his hand. I have so many stories. People forget how to people at the gas station.
I worked as a hotel desk clerk and I mostly got hit on which didn’t bug me as I always told them that I was married,but there is one time where I worked the night shift bc the night lady called off and I had a guy who was sloppy drunk walk in and try to start an argument with me for absolutely no reason, I eventually had to call his wife to come get him before I had him escorted off the premises
My weirdest interaction was when I was in an internship in a second hand shop. Someone demanded to have the already cheap object even cheaper, because he works in office and is a higher up.
So probably totally off topic. But I finally cracked into my craft kit from you. I have both but I started with the first figure mold. The last time I worked with any kind of clay or modeling I was in 5th grade, now in my 30's to give you an idea. I'm almost done so I wanted to see where would be the best way for you to see it right away when I'm done. Because I'm quite impressed with my work so far. So I have faith it will look good after I bake and paint it. Also, have you ever considered sending a kit to Simplynaillogical? I just think it would be interesting and I'm sure she'd add a ton of holo taco on top of it.
My weird encounter with a customer was once I was help my mom with a yard sale. When I was checking a customer out when they asked me if we had change for a 100. If we did, we wouldn't be having a yard sale!! I miss having my own business but other time I don't! 😂
I worked as a waitress and this guy came in said he won the lottery but only tipped me in change. If you won the lottery you can afford to tip more than some pocket change
I used to work at a big communications company in the IT department. I was calling a customer back about an email issue. They answered the phone, but before I could really explain why I was calling, they said, "Hang on, I need to shoot this arrow." And sure enough, I heard the sound of an arrow being loosed. Seriously, what even? 🤣

This is great 🤣🤣 Coming from a real life flight attendant I’ve had a few of theses situations… I’ve had a passenger taking a photo of me doing safety related duties and I went crazy at them. It’s actually completely not allowed for passengers to take photos of crew or then doing safety related duty’s… long story short I needed up taking her phone of her and deleting it myself. I told her to delete it or she had to get off the flight🤣
I looooove traveling and getting to know people around the world. It's weird cause I'm autistic and tend to stay away from people & stay inside. I can't approach people at all in my close surrounding, so it's funny to me. I wish I had more opportunities to travel and get to know different cultures. But this game doesn't give me travel vibes but just social anxiety haha

My first job at Tim Hortons was horrible 😳 They didn't know who I was when I came in for my first day and they never gave me proper training for the 2 weeks I was there. Then they put me at a register alone when I barely knew how to enter a coffee and when I obviously struggled, they fired me 😃 Also I had to contact the manager multiple times to get my pay
I will say this is NSFW even though it happened to me at work. I worked the register at CVS for awhile in my early twenties. I showed him the condoms section and he then proceeded to rant for about five minutes that we did not have condoms that were big enough for him I really had no answer that pleased him so he left without buying anything.
