i cheated a lot on hypixel, went vs this other guy who also was cheating so i turned my cheats off, recorded him cheating (as he stopped trying to hide it because i showed him i was also cheating) then turned my cheats back on and easily beat him and also got him banned for cheating.
with hypixel I got banned for LOGGING ON with a hacked client. I didn’t even have anything on and I left like 10 seconds after I joined. But there are still bhoppers, flyers, and people who use killaura

InvEDIT was pretty neat because you could put a minus quantity of items, making them illimited. It was pre-creative. This worked on armor as well to make you invicible.

I remember in my days of minecraft PE, like in the version 0.10.4 (it was like 2014 more or less) if you and your friend pressed the same item at the same time it would duplicate, I remember we used this in survival and didnt even know it was a glitch, so 2 diamonds and a full diamond armour and tools for the boys, we got so sad when they remove it.
I've been writing my own scripts for mc for a long time. Used to use them to break and place blocks instantly, inventory management, auto replace quick slots, instant craft, etc. You can't really stop this but servers have gotten good at slowing you down over the years. Baritone is such an extreme version of this though, the author's have really put a ton of effort into programming it.
There is still a very efficient way to fight hackers who use baritone and kill aura at the same time, which is randomly placing end crystals around the world. You will find a lot of these on anarchy servers nether highways. So make sure to turn off your kill aura, when walking there (or at least prevent it from hitting end crystals somehow) or else youre gonna block yourself up rather quickly on accident. Also remeber to have auto disconnect enabled in case you somehow get down to 1HP.

To basically explain what he meant at 2:55 on Minecraft there’s sever side and client side, anything that happens sever side happens for everyone now days, but stuff that’s client side only happens for you, for instance the WorldEdit Mod where only you can see what your doing on it on your computer, what this means is that servers back then where basically all client side so if you changed something for yourself it ACTUALLY CHANGED and for everyone

3:00 For People who Also had no idea, here's what I got (which is very basic and baseless): Mojang moved management from client side to server side. Client side means It's dependent on the player and server side is the same thing but with the server. The reason why this worked is that everything was synced with the server, rather than the individual players. And most hacks operated on client side, meaning they changed information sent from the player to the server. The hacks weren't able to change the information that was going from the server to the players as they weren't connected to the server, only the player. That's why some mods are client side, where they work without having the server with them. They only show their X feature for you but not for other people. In fact, that's how a lot of hacks still operate today - changing the client to do something which ultimately does not affect the server itself, such as "removing blocks" or just making them invisible for the player (Xray), showing locations of players (esp), etc etc. If you know more let me know in the comments.
Basically, what it means when Mojang "moved server management to server side rather than client side", client side means that it all the data values of the player are inside their "client" and server side means that all their data values are stored in the server. Hacking the client side when server management was on the server side would mean that only you would see your own hacks, and it would never actually do anything. In order for the hack to take effect, you have to hack the server side which is WAY harder, since the server can only really be controlled by the computer its on.

just a quick correction - 2:30 cheat engine isn't a hack client, it's not even specific to minecraft. it's just a program used to view/edit memory values

For People who Also had no idea, here's what I got (which is very basic and baseless):
Mojang moved management from client side to server side.
Client side means It's dependent on the player and server side is the same thing but with the server. The reason why this worked is that everything was synced with the server, rather than the individual players. And most hacks operated on client side, meaning they changed information sent from the player to the server. The hacks weren't able to change the information that was going from the server to the players as they weren't connected to the server, only the player.
That's why some mods are client side, where they work without having the server with them. They only show their X feature for you but not for other people. In fact, that's how a lot of hacks still operate today - changing the client to do something which ultimately does not affect the server itself, such as "removing blocks" or just making them invisible for the player (Xray), showing locations of players (esp), etc etc. If you know more let me know in the comments.
Basically, what it means when Mojang "moved server management to server side rather than client side", client side means that it all the data values of the player are inside their "client" and server side means that all their data values are stored in the server. Hacking the client side when server management was on the server side would mean that only you would see your own hacks, and it would never actually do anything. In order for the hack to take effect, you have to hack the server side which is WAY harder, since the server can only really be controlled by the computer its on.

@@polyduckwanaland Microsoft account migration = less alt shops. Less alt shops = less cheaters. Script virgins won't be able to buy alt accounts and cheat on them, so they would either pay for another accounts or cheat on their main and get banned.

Doesn't mean you have to have windows you can still play on linux and mac. Though anti cheats are coming to linux, but linux is harder to write anti-cheats for, because linux allows you to control your OS in ways that you can't on proprietary OS's. I dual boot windows, but I cry a bit inside when I use it glory to linux.
