As ridiculous as Syu is on the guitar, it's sometimes lost on a lot of people on how incredible Masotoshi Ono is as a singer, & how talented the rest of the band is. The main theme of this song is actually borrowing from Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto in D major, Op. 35, so when you are getting a strong classical feel from this song, that's why. Considering this is borrowing from Tchaikovsky, I feel somewhat disappointed that there were no cannons...

Syu is widely considered as one of the top most technically proficient guitarist from Japan. If I recall correctly he also has an extensive classical background and many of his work draws inspiration from there.

The live would had been 2013 or 14 so the vocalist Masatoshi Ono was 46 or 47 years old then. The guitarist Syu is quite younger.

The initial orchestral part is from the Tchaikovski Violin concerto in D, opus 35. In deed, most of the guitar solo parts are transcriptions from the violin parts at the second movement. That fact makes the song even better and shows the musicianship of the band members

Yesn the whole song has been written to be a musical adaptation of the violin concerto from Tchaikovski, you may have recognized the main theme from this musical masterpiece for sure ;-)
