    The 3861 is just lovely in the flesh especially under good lighting where you can see the dial details.
    It's so much better looking in person. Pictures don't do it justice

    I am glad I was able to pick up a new old stock of an 1863 Speedmaster. I had thought about buying another Hesalite model to replace the one I sold a while ago. And I was trying to find a new one because I didn’t want to buy used. A place I know had a few stock of the discontinued models 1861 and 1863 left. After a while I went to check with them and the 1861 hesalites were all sold out, and I decided to look into the 1863 Sapphire Sandwich instead. The store owner said he only had one 1863 sapphire left, but it was on hold for another client. A day later the owner phoned me and told me the client wasn’t sure if he wanted and was still thinking about it, but it was available if I wanted it and it was the last one. So I went ahead and got it with no regrets. I’m actually liking the Sapphire Sandwich more than the hesalite. I love seeing the 1863 movement and I don’t have to worry about scratches neither. In my opinion, the previous discontinued models look nicer and more classic than the new models. Plus at retail the price is cheaper compared to the new Speedmasters. The store owner even told me as soon as his store got more stock of the discontinued 1861 and 1863 models, people were going crazy and buying them, and they were selling fast. My advice is if you want a Speedmaster discontinued 1861 or 1863 and can find a new one in stock with retail price, pick it up!!! They are hard to find now in new old stock if that matters. Also I had a few hesalites in the past, but this is my first sapphire ever and I love it! It’s a keeper now!

    Hesalite with solid caseback and all brushed bracelet looks very much a tool watch just Beautiful for daily wear..
    If you're OC about scratches on the hesalite just put a 0.50 cents super thin 0.1mm soft self healing TPU film. It's invisible and no more scratches.

    Hesalite is the way to go. I have used Polywatch for a long time and and my ‘91 Speedy crystal looks fantastic.

    The Moonwatch at £4K RRP would be the 1821 Calibre not the current 3821 and the new Moonwatch has a far superior bracelet to the old pre 2020 model.

    Sorry, but my English is not so good. Which is the logo printed on the hesalite version? And where is this logo printed?
    At the end, is more precious the hesalite version or the newest with sapphire?
    Thank you

    • @Weakeyedominant
      @Weakeyedominant ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes the hesalite version. The entire dial is printed on both watches with the exception of the logo on the sapphire sandwich.
