All the coupes running these Mugen rep visors now hahaha they're hard af and really nice they double as a chrome delete 300 to the wheels is nuts bro I've loved seeing your car evolve over the years
Intresting, same rv6 turbo, rv6 catted downpipe and front pipe. 3 inch exhaust. PRL Coldair and inlet pipe. Innovative MotorWorks got my Si to 297whp 289wtq at 25PSI. Granted it was on 93 pump. He estimated near 350whp on E30 if I would have gone that route. All done on Dynojet.
I'm not even a minute in and have to comment...that's a totally normal feeling. No matter how many times you secure, check, and re-check...you're waiting for that gas can to spill in the trunk
Sik!!! Your making the same power as me now. I tried hondata’s multi stage tune and it was fucked up. I haven’t tried it since. I told them it was but they said it wasn’t. Maybe one day I’ll turn my boost up but for now. 18psi is still undefeated and no head gasket issues.
Now we need to see how long this all last. Will the engine let out or the transmission. I am hoping it lasts. Sucks when one or the other goes. Mine is engine since my oil pump likely failed. Issue is still unknown but i’m pretty sure oil pump failure.
Have you seen the CivicX post from Austin at Wunderladen Racing about the 1.5t oil pump? It's a relatively recent post from a week ago in the tuning section of the forum, I'd give it a read if you haven't already
93 octane makes the difference and so they’re able to get a more aggressive timing I’m also sure being catless and the prl intake adds a few more hp as well
Solid numbers out of the 1.5 turbo bro. I’m a v8 guy but I love most platforms in general. My girl has an 8th gen SI that we work on a lot, and one of her brothers has a stock 10th gen si. I have a good bit of experience with the 8th gen platform but not so much the 10th. Any idea on what this set up would run in the 1/8,1/4, and or 60-130 at this power level? Regardless it seems like the perfect amount of power for a fun street car, but I don’t know much about this platform so I was wondering can the engine and trans hold this power safely?
MAPerformance built a 10th gen pushing 500 hp before blowing the engine. I believe the trans is good but the clutch is a weak link and needs to be upgraded
I have a 2017 sedan si of course on hondata 93 octane I got mine on 336 hp with stock turbo I’m confused don’t get me wrong I love your car I pretty much have the same mods you have if I put the big turbo
Perfect power and powerband. Id say don't chase any more you're at stock fk8 power levels with a lighter chassis I suggest focus on handling mods and making car lighter
I had an awesome opportunity to work with John. And also remember that when they do their dyno tunes they use 93oct so that will make better numbers overall than we do on 91 Oct. plus those are also custom dyno tunes. I had an E tune so I pretty much data logged for him
@@JosueGarcia-lx3ny The type r stock literally has 100 hp more than a stock si and is 2.0 engine vs a 1.5 si. That’s like saying watch a stock type r run 2.0 vs a stock supra a90 3.0 the outcome is obvious. It’s obvious the outcome stock vs stock where one or the other came from the factory with a smaller engine.
@@10thgensiracing my point exactly lol why max out an SI to be at type r power. Doesn’t make sense to me to drop 10k on a build to max it out just to be at the type r level. Where you can be 100% comfortably in a stock type r vs risking it in the SI at every pull you make lol
Love the car and the content but biggest waste of money on that garbage engine, had a friend with a built motor, headgasket still blew, rod knock, big turbo making a bit more power than you, just the biggest waste of money in my opinion. My k24 8th gen making 233/198 with I/H/E 4p type s pump, rbc, 50 vtc im even with stock type r until end of 4th gear due to me running a 9th gen Si transmission instead of z3, losing a bit of acceleration for slightly taller gearing 5th-6th dead gears (bought the car like that without knowing)
Your best bet in getting a built motor done is from tsp or mapperformance. Get it done right. There are so many low key 10th gen si in the 400+ as a daily with built motor, arp headstuds, ppg gears and bc valves running with little to no issues.
I wouldn’t take it any further. The internals are weak bro, if you have a local place that is know for building these motors take a look for yourself they are very thin especially the crank. 350whp is motor popping territory. Be careful.

Ive had those visors for like 3 years already, im tired of em and thinking about just rocking the chrome delete
Time for some solid motor mounts Don Tony.
I’m here for the rain guards. lol! 🤗

Dyno tune normally get better numbers than E tunes
That crappy Cali 91 not doing anyone any favors there.

I have a FBO Civic hatch I’m looking to buy the RV6 turbo soon
Looking forward to your driving impression videos and some races 😬🫨😎

can you put a link for those rain guards? i know it’s been a while but i need those ones fr
Thats about 206whp per litre? Correct me if im wrong, Impressive
We need some races!
wonder if a PRL CAI would get you anymore gains? Also I bet 93 youd be higher this makes me miss my Si.
Hey bro where is can buy that spoiler that u have ??
Baby Type R 🔥
Hey so i am planning to turbo mine also but how is the reliability so far?? On your journey??
You see new DP that lets you switch it from cat less to catted? It uses vband
👀
I’ll have to look at that
Hey tony how’s the hybrid racing shirt shifter? How’s it been holding up still good.
Still running strong lol
Interesting the TSP R365 tune makes on 93 300whp/ 300 torque and on e30 350whp and 350 torque.
93 octane makes the difference and so they’re able to get a more aggressive timing
I’m also sure being catless and the prl intake adds a few more hp as well
how does it sound now with the bigger turbo? i remember it sounded deep before
If you raced and won a stock type R I can die happy
I’ve raced a stock type R on e30 tune (stock turbo)
You can beat them lol
Tsp stage 2 almost fbo beats the fk8 and the fl5. I have video racing both and quite a few bolt Sti.

Thing is the car is lightweight so 309hp is lotta power. I've seen 10thgen hatchbacks non Si hitting 330hp-355
that's more than a V6 accord coupe or a 2.5 GR 86 and BRZ.
What exhaust set up is this I have a 2018 Honda civic si*
Full race motor sports cat back exhaust
I have a 2017 sedan si of course on hondata 93 octane I got mine on 336 hp with stock turbo I’m confused don’t get me wrong I love your car I pretty much have the same mods you have if I put the big turbo
That’s most case crank hp or a very hi reading dyno. Also there’s a decent difference in 91 to 93 Oct. our 91 here is pretty bad if I’m being honest.
The catless would definitely give it extra more power 👀
Perfect power and powerband. Id say don't chase any more you're at stock fk8 power levels with a lighter chassis I suggest focus on handling mods and making car lighter
How many miles you have now
68k
Revving up the power! We sent you an email, please take a look.
What tune you runnung?
Custom E tune from phearable
Just dyno mine i made 275 on 91 octane same mods.as yours expect flex fuel
Why you go with Phearable over Drob ? I seen better numbers with drob and same set ups as yours

Nice!!!
if you need Fuel pump upgrade hit me up.
Hey you in Florida?
Nah
SoCal
Si Coupe just looks better than any four door.
500hp when?
That’s fully built route lol. Most I’ve experienced was 460whp (Emans) and even then that was a lot 😂
Reason why I sold my SI … $10k to be at a stock type r level. End of the day it’s just a 1.5
Badass man, 309hp 26psi is great. That turbo can go to 30psi for sure, probably you would be at 330hp-350hp
Way faster than a stock type r. Lol
