Wendy's vocals are crazy!!!
I get goosebumps every time I watch reactions to this video by older fans. The songs themselves are already nostalgic, but hearing your experiences as a fan, I recall my experiences too, which are similar to yours, and I feel twice as emotional. I realize over and over that a good chunk of my life, with its ups and downs, has been spent with these girls (vicariously but no less real) and that overall, my life has been enriched not just by their music, but also by their camaraderie/sisterhood/group spirit. To me, it's like watching one's childhood friends or cousins grow up, up-close. These women have been through a lot, and I am just so happy that they're having their moment right now and I get to witness it. It's much deserved. Thank you for this wonderful reaction. It was so great to hear stories from the good old days. Thank you very much.
Wendy is so amazing 🎉
Wendy also guested on Lee Mujin Service this comeback. . .
Their low notes in 'Kingdom Come' always get me. Wendy is usually floating somewhere among the rafters like the Angel that she is, so hearing these lows from her is astonishing! She has such AWESOME range that she is stable in! That's why she is among the greatest vocalists who ever graced the planet with their presence. Obviously not JUST Wendy's lows, everybody did so great with that song!
Kingdom Come is where everyone melted or lost their shit. It was the part of the Killing Voice where people finally realized that Red Velvet was a scary talented group.
@@francismarasiganiii4549 Which is sad because they celebrated their Ninth Anniversary after debut already. It takes THAT LONG for RV to become known as the vocal queens they have always been? Oh, right; SM Entertainment, INFAMOUS for not promoting their talent.
@@jamescurfman3284 Chill! I'm only talking about the Killing Voice performance no need to go slander a company or anything else. The medley of OOTN-Automatic-Kingdom Come was peak Velvet RnB which is why it's getting a lot of appreciation that they lose their shit.
@@francismarasiganiii4549 SLANDER!? Have you been paying attention at all to SM? What I said about the company is 100% accurate.
SM failed to promote them, pure and simple. Yeri does a better job of promoting them by herself than the entire team at SM has bothered to do. Word needed to go out 9+ years ago pre-debut but people are only now finding out about them.
OBVIOUSLY the ladies are amazing, which is why they have deserved FAR more attention than they ever got.
I’ve also been a fan since 2014, and I’m just so proud of them for their recent comeback. I’m happy they are getting the recognition from people who were curious or have never took the time to listen to them. They’re a legendary group at this point and will forever be iconic
Wendy has that natural boost-clarity-fidelity filter on her voice.
Was really happy watching your reaction to this because you seem really grateful and touched listening to them, especially Chill Kill. Thank you for reacting to this and loving them. RV is truly amazing inside out.
I'm so proud of RV and their LEGENDiscography!
Seulgi herself likely does not mind too much if non-Korean speakers get her name wrong to begin with (she is SUCH a sweetheart, we LOVE our Teddy Bear!).
From everything I have heard, the 'g' is a 'hard' 'g' sound, as in the word 'good'. Otherwise, you seem to pronounce it much better than I did when I first discovered them. Your Korean is better than mine as well. :)
Yes, Yeri caught a bunch of crap from the haters and trolls. Imagine that full-grown ADULTS were picking on a sixteen-year-old kid for following her dreams. They called her a clout-chaser and a gold-digger AND WORSE just because she got into a group that was already debuted (but the group was still a rookie group, it was less than a year after the elder members had debuted). NONE of that was Yeri's fault at all, it's the other adults around her that had the final say in the matter. Irene made the trolls shut up, though.
According to SM, the 'group' debuted in 2014.
BUT according to Irene, the group had ALWAYS been meant as a Five-Member Group. Yeri completed them, therefore they did not ACTUALLY debut until 'Ice Cream Cake', when Yeri was finally able to join them. That means ALL of the group's previous songs and dances (which none won any awards for anyway) were to be considered 'pre-debut material'. Irene did her job as a Group Leader AND as a Surrogate Mother by protecting Yeri and taking the heat herself. And we know she would do it all over again, if she had to.
Even if it is not official on the part of SME, Irene is a FORCE TO BE RECKONED WITH so the haters finally shut their stupid faces (smartest thing those stupid haters ever did; I would not want to mess with that tiny firecracker...).
If someone says they're ot4 in front of Irene I truly believe she would slap them. The girls have said multiple times how much Yeri means for the group and for them, and she still gets hate for no reason
@@2034niko I believe it too. And it might even be an appropriate slap. These haters (not just Red Velvet's haters) have been going way too far for AGES now. It is well past time for them to get that hate right back in their own faces.
I'm literally hollering at the way you just sing along with them and then try to shut your mouth lmao :D ... SO relatable as a ReVeluv !!!
I love your reaction, fella reveluv 🤩
To be fair, if RV did EVERY song here that all the fans would want them to have done, this video would have been an hour-and-a-half long and RV would not be back on Killing Voice for another decade. They would need nine more albums full of all-new material after 'Chill Kill'.
As this is, they could still come back next year and do a bunch of the older B-Sides plus whatever they might have as new, and be just fine.
Your reaction is one of... if not my top favorite of this killing voice. I can really tell you are a reveluv. Some creators claim to stan red velvet in the videos to get views and end up not knowing anything about them. I really appreciated this reaction ❤
a true og rv stan
Thanks for your best reaction.. 👏🏻👍🏻
26:50 ISTG I almost choked! All in the moment with beautiful singing and then you said that. Love this!
Im 4 months late for a comment. But i just want to say by far this was the longest killing voice episode. Seulgi said they recorded longer than this but they deleted some songs like rbb, birthday and so good. She even asked do they need to do a part 2.
They said they actually prepared and filmed 30ish songs for Killing voice, but only 20 made the cut due to time constraint reasons.
Dingo, give us the full uncut version!
What Seulgi actually said that they recorded a total of 40 minutes but it was cut down to 30 minutes because Dingo thought it was too long. So many songs were omitted.
Please react to WENDY’s LEE MUJIN SERVICE
Pls reaction wendy - lee mujin service next it’s so good ❤❤❤
Trying not to sing to a Red Velvet song is really difficult, i'm having a hard time not to sing too.
I've tried to lie to myself about my bias but ultimately my existential crisis ended and the one true answer prevailed.
Its Wendy and that is the only correct answer.
Period get into it
aaaaa thnk for react🤩🥰
Need Part 2, 3, 4, 5…..,.,
I also hear Janet Jackson, now that you mention it. And Paula Abdul. And a few other groups from that era.
💖💛💙💚💜
Haha so happy seeing you controlling yourself even I can't do it, haha I sing along with them :) Then your reaction is somewhat so natural :) hehe
Please react to “wendy’s lee mujin service” for blessing your ears. ❤
No se que dijo pero si hablo mal de Red Velvet, miente, ahora si dijo algo bueno esta totalmente en lo correcto. Red Velvet es el mejor grupo que puede existir y ojalá sigan haciendo lo que hacen y alegrando mi alma.
First 🎉 thank yooou!!!
For Seulgi's name pronunciation : it's Soul - Ghee
same reaction :O
Redvelvet vocal queens ❤❤ can you do EXO killing voice as well ❤
Honestly, nobody can blame you for singing along.
'Ice Cream Cake' was Yeri's Debut with the group.
Irene is completely under-utilized as a Vocalist but ESPECIALLY under-utilized as the Main Rapper! WHAT has SM been thinking for the past decade? It makes no sense that she is 'The Best-Kept Secret In K-Pop'! New fans have NO IDEA that SHE is the Main Rapper until older fans TELL the newer fans that little-known-fact. It's REALLY messed up! And why does Yeri have to do the job of promoting when SM should have an entire department of the company for that?
While necessary, "rapper" is the lowest status position of a kpop group, a hierarchy established in the previous generations. You know how Koreans are about hierarchies. In case you hadn't figure it out, it is Main Vocalist < Leader < Maknae < Main Dancer < Center < Vocal line < Dance line < Rapper. Group rappers are often recruited from the dance line because they have the lower voices 'suitable' for rapping (that aren't favored for vocals). The higher status position often applies, e.g. SNSD Hyoyeon being Main Dancer, in addition to Main Rapper. Red Velvet themselves have been careful to never designate ANY of their members as "the" rapper, as a lesson learned while they were trainees, so they dole out the requisite rap lines on a song-by-song basis. Any listing assigning rap positions is just inflexible knetz trying to force them back into the "proper" mold.
Other groups solved the status problem a different way, by _empowering_ their rapper through creative control and crediting (Mamamoo's Moonbyul, (G)i-dle's Soyeon), and iconoclastic soloists like AleXa. But they are so rare; I'd hoped to see more of it, but the Powers That Be have reasserted themselves. Creative control by members is now a fluke of 3rd Gen and early 4th.
@@xheralt What a bunch of stupid people at the top of the Entertainment industry over there.
'Lets make a whole bunch of stupid rules for creative people to folow so we can feel like we have all the control. Sure, that will make the industry last a long time, won't it? Nobody will ever get sick of rules or see through our plans for domination...'
What idiots are running the show over there? Just a few wrinkly old jerks who are racists and sexists, all with more money than they deserve to have or even know what to do with. :P
@@xheralt So, NONE of the Fifth-Generation Rappers will ever be Original Writers? They will go back to being Idol Rappers and NOT the real deal? That really is the industry shooting itself in both damned feet.
For Seulgi, you want the "g" of gone, not genre. Think of the karate garment, which is NOT a "Ji"!
Please react to Apink's killing voice too when you have time 🙏🏻🥺❤️
React to EXO killing voice please 🙏
