Hi there , I tried to do without the harness and straight hard wired it , but only the ambient light is working all other light + footwell light is not working anymore … can help to understand why ? 😢
Check your fuse, you might have tripped something in the process. Check fault codes. If the car notices a voltage spike, it might have tripped the fuse or generated a sporadic code to term of all interior lights on the terminal
Which lamp do you have? The button on your light switch is probably faulty. Which is why the light assembly thinks it's always on. When the car is locked, the corresponding terminal shuts power completely and hence the light turns off. You should check the slider button on the lamp assembly to see if it's in the right mode, and if it is, then consider a replacement.
Need one help for understanding the load capacity on my bike. I want to install a LED projector fog lamp on my bike. How can I get in touch with you? I don't have a Team bhp membership either.
Depends on how you install it. If you use a plug and play harness and do not tap a wire for ambient light illumination, then there's nothing to technically void your warranty.
Hi Sujoye, when you placed the order from Ali express ( from china) have you paid anything extra at custom like. Custom duty, import duty, taxes etc apart from product and delivery charges

Actually, I was accessing the Indian custom website to calculate the custom duties and found that automotive part like accessories fall from HS code 8701 to 8708 there was no custom duties were mentioned. However, for the other products it was 15% standard for each kilograms and for few in count
@@sonukumar-ce3tr maybe about 1.5k for the first lamp and about 3000 for the second lamp with ambient lights. It doesn't matter what the HSN Code is, Indian customs will assess whatever they deem is suitable.
My dome lights are not turning on automatically when i am removing key or unlocked vehicle and opening door, any suggestions what went wrong or any settings got messed up? It is working fine when i click button manually after sitting inside. Mine is vento 2011 highline.
Need to inspect the switch or wiring. Perhaps the Door Open position on the switch has worn out, or there is a wiring issue not relaying Door Open signal. Pretty much the only two things I can think of. Try replacing the dome light with a different one to check, else need to look into the wiring. This happened on my high mileage Jetta, where the contact switches had worn out and couldn't detect door open.

No we don't. I had shared a text based DRL retrofit tutorial from my TeamBHP handle. Red 4771 installed the DRLs following my guidelines and sent me his pictures to share with many more folks. Maybe that's why you ask. My car has its own thread. It's a 1.0 TSI AT Sunset Red car 😀 You can read about it on TeamBHP.
The first type of lamp should be about 1500 rupees and the second ambient lamp assembly is about 3500. These are AliExpress prices, but not sure at what prices these products are available today

My light doesn't turn off while driving. It only turns off if the car is off and we lock the car using the remote. Any idea why is that?
