I really like Superman the Ride at Six Flags New England because everytime I'm at the park I usually ride that ride a lot of times before the big crowds get to the ride and crowd it up!! 🙂
50 second chainlift feels like an absolute eternity on this ride, then it's chaos - I wish more rides played theme songs on the lift hill, cause it really does add extra anticipation (and anxiety if you're me riding this for the first time LOL)
I been on Superman a lot of times and I keep on forgetting that the cut out right when you reach the second airtime hill is right there. I guessing my brain blocks it out when I'm on the ride because it knows it's just a prop and it's right near the ride.
i was completely overwhelmed on this ride the first time, personally hated the lap restraints cause i got super bony legs and didnt feel secure on the drops - so the cutout had me absolutely screaming after that barrage of hills. It does feel very close to the train - some parts of Wicked Cyclone at SFNE feel like you're gonna whack the wooden supports but hundreds of thousands of launches over the years prove otherwise!
Omg I remember I went on this as my first roller coaster with my friends and I was sitting next to my friend and I was gripping on his hand for dear life😭
they did??? damn, that was the best cool-down zipping through there - even walking the stairway that goes by the ride gave you a cool breeze when the train zipped through. Gonna guess it wasn't the cost of the mist rather than the labor required to inspect/clean it (kinda like how the ice cream machine at McDonalds is always 'broken') - I've noticed a lot of theme parks, not just Six Flags, have removed more and more FX elements from coasters that once had them.

I just rode this today for the first time in 10 years . Absolutely wild ride and fun as hell
What a cool ride! That first hill is so high! It’s a rather long ride too. Almost like being there.

Aiming to go in a couple weeks, of course this is the ride I’m looking forward to riding the most.
this quality is unreal
Thanks!
It’s clearer that my life plans

2:10 still screaming 🤣🤣🤣
1:50 onward is the most mild part of this ride yet she's screaming just as loudly as the first couple of hills - girl just wanted to make some noise

Genuine question, why did they take out the fog/mist?
I Think Budgetary Reasons But I Might Just Be Making That Up

That awkward moment when you realize this ride has two really big helix just like the other two intamin Supermans but its a lot less obvious.
