I am pregnant with my third and have a few things to add to the list. The first thing is flushable wipes. I had a lot of trips to the restroom during labor with my first two deliveries and the hospital toilet paper is rough and left me raw. It also shredded and I didn’t feel clean so flushable wipes are a must have! I also suggest a Boppy pillow for breastfeeding moms. The last item is lotion for my husband to massage my back with during labor so my skin does not get irritated.
I got mine done at 38 weeks , pretty simple change of clothes , body wash , toothbrush! Baby outfit and blanket also packed dad his own snack bag really no sense in him suffering along with me being tired or hungry when there isn’t much he can do anyways😂🤦🏻♀️ 3rd baby we’ve learned a few things
I am 36 weeks, I've had my bag packed since 28 weeks and in the car full time since 34 weeks. I will be in hospital for 3 says, I was given the option, so I have a nice list -Toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, toothpaste, toothbrush, mouthwash, brush, hair ties, head band, lip balm, moisturiser, face wipes, deodorant, light make-up, facewasher) -clothes (5×black underpants, 2×nursing bras, 3×tank tops, slippers, warm socks, cardigan, loose pants, loose clothes to leave in) -pillow -night mask -long phone cord -journal and pen -a bag of mint lollies -for baby (first toy, blanket, swaddle, 3×socks, 3×singlets, 2×leggings, 2×beanie, headband, 2×onsies, 2peice set to wear home) -for nursing (burp clothes, nursing towel, nursing pads) -baby wipes and nappies Our car seat is being installed this weekend and because I have 2 other children I have an over night bag for them in the car too so they can stay with their grandparents while I'm in labour. I've been very lucky in the past, 2 natural v births, my water broke 12 days before due date each time, and I had no complications. The reason for staying for a few days this time is because I live rurally, 68minutes away from the hospital and it will allow me calm and quiet postpartum recovery in the first few days when baby will need the newborn tests anyway.
Yes here we have to pack every single thing ,if we can carry fresh air we should take it too 🤣🤣🤣Jamaica is the best 🇯🇲 i am 25 weeks i think I need to start packing weekend ..
I'm 38 and it's gonna be my first so I'm quite nervous. Been watching your videos with hubby and we thank you for all the infos.really helpful.. 💝💝💝from Romania
I subscribed ! I LOVE your channel im 17 weeks pregnant and I watch every video each week and I just feel more comfortable about my pregnancy thanks to your channel.
Hello, love your videos. I am currently 34 weeks pregnant a first time mom and some of the things you mentioned in your video I packed as far as toilet trees and pajamas. But I also purchased a postpartum kit from Target. The reason I purchased it was because many people I know said to plus from watching other TH-cam videos they always mention a spray for ur Vijay that helps with pain, ice pads, disposable undies etc. are those really necessary? I didn’t pack entertainment I will probably just use my phone but I will pack my portable Bluetooth speaker, to have some tunes. Thanks for the insight
36 weeks tomorrow and I admit having procrastinated with mine...I have packed the bag for the delivery room with baby's essentials, but still checking out the things I will need for the stay
I am bringing my beats pill speaker so I could play some relaxing and motivational tunes when it’s time to push! Lol😉 my other must have is my brow liner and lip balm!!
I subscribed! 🥰 I enjoy your videos, they are helpful and informative. Can you please make video about options when making a birthing plan for first time moms? People talk about birthing plans not as a ftm, I don’t know what are options during birth that I can do.
You should go ahead and pack it now, just to be on the safe side. I’m 29 weeks and I plan on packing my bag after the baby shower, so probably at 34 weeks I’ll do mines.
I have a question, I turned 40 in June and I’m 22 weeks pregnant and due January 19.. my question is my doctor wants to induce me at 38 weeks cause of my age, Is this normal?
I want to know this too I'm 37 due in November. My doctor wants to induce me right around 38 39 weeks but I'm not sure why. He didn't give me a clear definitive answer he just said because of my age he they offer it. But I'm not sure if that means that because of my age it's risky for the baby to stay in there.
They'd want to induce you because when you get older, they worry about the Integrity of your placenta and want to make sure that there is an issue with your baby getting enough oxygen. So they don't want you to go too long.
I am 37 weeks 3 days today, I am from Ghana. In my country you carry everything you and your new born would need. The midwives will insult you if you leave anything behind. 😂

Thanks. Yeah. They need it 😉
I've packed 2 bags....one for baby and one for me...no stuff is provided for d baby so we have to carry all d stuff.
Ur videos help so much 💕
So happy you help. Thank you
Soo clearly I overpacked 😂😂😂😂
Haha. That's OK 👍
Me to 😂🤦🏽♀️
Better to overpack than underpack, right? I'd rather have more than I needed than not have enough.
I packed my baby‘s hospital bag but I’ve been procrastinating on packing mine😅

Am I supposed to take my breast pup if I plan on breast feeding?
No need the hospital has great pumps that they allow you to use ❤.
I should add I am in America. In other parts of the world you may have to bring your pump.
Caffeine Simon 😍😛🤪🤩
💜💜💜
I packed my bag at 30 weeks 😜😜😜😜
Why two bags? Don’t you get your stuff moved?
In algeria we need a lot of other things
Really. I would love to hear what else you would need in Algeria💜
😂😂😂🤣🤣 too bad in Guyana it’s god n you alone in the labour room which sucks because you have to bear all the pain alone
Deodorant, this is what I forgot the first and I just didn’t like what the hospital 🏥 had.
