I keep watching this video over and over. just 2 years ago my little kitty Beecca Jasmince got lost. I am in a wheelchair but to find her I went upand down the streets from 6 Pm untuil alsom 8 AM in the morning singing to her. Then 4 weeks later she came running up the sidewalk and jumped on my lap. I will share more in a bit but Last year she showed me an ultimate love by reiving me when my oxygen level had drop way to low and I was dying. She scratched the top in my head but I am live today because of a kitty I spent so many hoiurs brinnging her back home for the love she so much needed. This past year I have been dealing with cancer and I know I could not have gotten well without her love and for needing my love in return. Love to you Oliver. your friends Jo Ann and my precious kitty Becca Jasmine

I think that would be my cat Charlie if he ever was on his own again. He was a stray I had tried to coax close enough to catch, whenever my friend that drove me to work stopped at his friends for a moment after work. Too wary. Imagine my surprise when I went to the animal control shelter with my son to choose a cat for himself. Two cages over was the cat I had tried to coax. He was up against the bars wanting attention and out. It said on his card that they had trapped him and the location. Yep, it was the right area. He was still on the stray hold. So, I put my name on the list. I was the first. I showed up and bailed him out of cat jail. He had been on the streets long enough that he was a bit on the feral side. All scarred up from fighting. He would let you pick him up and pet him. But he could only handle a limited amount before biting and I got bitten severely the second day as I neglected to notice his agitation. So, I told him we would do it his way and that we could just be roommates and he could take the relationship as far as he liked or not, on his terms. 3 long years later, he finally hopped down off of his cat condo tree and gave me a quick lick on my forearm. Then hopped down and back up and went back to sleep. We are bonded now. If anything ever happens my son will just have to take him as I don't think he would be happy with anyone else. He goes up to others and begs for attention, but he just uses them for free petting and any treats. He gets an attitude if my son takes to long to come by and makes a point of ignoring him when he does come over for a bit. Harold just gets the treats down and all is forgiven. He does let Harold know that he needs to come by more often. I had gotten cat beds for him that he basically ignored and got given to other deserving cats. Then they got this cat condo tree at Walmart and it was the perfect size for my space by the window. So, I had a discount coupon for my birthday on any one item and I spent it on the cat tree. It was close to his three year adoption date. That was the clincher on our relationship. He had his own furniture that he adores. I had of course gotten other things for him and he liked the one sling window seat he used to have. Not as much as his condo. It was like a month after that, I got the first cat kiss. Each cat is different and just see what warms their kitty heart. You never know what will trip the trigger and they decide you are the super star cat parent. Maybe he had something similar at his original home.
