I woud never mistake her voice for that of a man and honestly don't get it how some people say they would. Her voice is unique in an absolutely glorious way. My fav comment on YT: "If the universe could speak to us, if Mother Nature had a voice - this would be it".
as a casual that doesn't know much about the science in music and singing but my god, she reminds me of a female version of dimash with her style.
I have to admit the first time I heard her which was this song I was wondering if maybe she was a transexual but as soon as that second verse came in and she hit that higher spectrum of airy notes that initial thought flew right out the window and was replaced with pure amazement! It's only through ignorance did such an ignorant thought manifest.
She is a once in a lifetime talent. Thankfully she's alive in modern times because her talent is so impressive that she would've been some king's or other powerful figures pet. No joke, her voice is that..... Hypnotic? Her voice could've toppled cities due to leaders fighting over ownership of her. Sad/scary but true.

Diana was born in May 2003 in the Far East of Russia. She didn't have a happy start in life. The woman who gave birth to her had many pregnancies, only Diana survived ... and she abused the child and tried to drown it. One day this 3 year old child was found at a bus stop with a broken collarbone and taken to an orphanage.
There she finally found love ... by Irina Ponik, a massage therapist who treated the children from the children's home. Diana came to a poor but loving family when she was 5 years old.
Diana spoke badly, cried a lot and was still very scared, but she could all sing songs from cartoons. A doctor recommended singing lessons. And so, the singing teacher Elena Kazantseva discovered Diana's talent. And all started …
Diana has something primal, mystical, but also sensitive and sensual in her voice and she lives her songs. Diana is a dramatic contralto, the rarest and lowest female voice type (her range C3-D6). Diana's voice also sometimes has a polyphonic undertone. You hear: Her voice sounds an octave below the singing voice. (But not everyone can hear that.) Diana also has a perfect pitch and her sense of rhythm was exceptional even as a little girl.
Diana impressed with her talent in over 50 national and international competitions.
In 2018 and 2019 Diana entered a unique competition and won twice. This project is unique in the world, an international TV- competition: 'You are Super', especially for adopted and orphaned children.
The winner of the season will be determined by a 6-day public vote and the final took place in the Kremlin Palace and her videos were uploaded to TH-cam and soon she had millions of fans.
The project producers help the finalists start their studies and encourage their creativity. Diana won a scholarship.
Igor Krutoy, here as a juror, gave her a small apartment (37m²/398,26 ft²) in Moscow. There, in the small flat she lives with her mother and grandmother and was able to begin her vocal training with the best teachers.
2020 Diana graduated from high school with honors as an external student a year earlier than it is 'normal'. That alone shows how smart and hardworking she is.
She applied to music colleges and was rejected (examiners suspected she had a voice defect). But she is totally normal and healthy. Now she is a student at the university, at the legendary Russian State Institute for Theater and Variety Arts. This is a cover of Tommy Profitt dark version in F Minor Harmonic. Diana is a fabulous artist, singer/actor and live performer. Wish I could have experienced this performance in person also. I'll add the fact that the name of the show is the English sentence "The Show Mask Go On," but written using the Cyrillic script. In other words, the title of the show isn't translated from Russian to English, it's just English encoded using the Cyrillic alphabet.
Thanks! This is a new interesting show in Russia, in which there are no judges: the participants (there are 9 of them) themselves give an assessment to a friend (from 2 to 9 points) . It is insanely interesting to watch, since the shooting was at a film studio (Mosfilm) and VR technologies (virtual reality) were used. There were 9 issues, different nominations. Diana became the winner of this show.All the participants are good, they all had smartly staged numbers, but Diana still pulled ahead. This was Diana's very first performance on the show "Showmaskgoon". Diana has already won on another show, "You're Super" (2018. 14 years old) and received the Grand Prix for "You are a super Super Season" (2019 year 15 ) Watch her performances and you will understand that Diana is a super talent!

age of about 13 she auditioned on a show for children and
sang/yodeled. It is called 'Jodel Time'...really
extraordinary...the audience absolutely loved her but the judges
didn't turn their chairs around, even though they were obviously
fascinated by her voice. They asked her to sing something else
and she sang a French song acapella...but she was not chosen.
What did she do? As the audience cheered her, she went up and
gave the judges a hug! Completely captivating performer, even at
the age of 13!

also you could do 'Wicked Game' and 'Rechenka' both at the age
of about 15 in singing contests... utterly spectacular voice!

northern Winter she was abandoned, injured, at a bus stop where

eventually adopted her. Diana was sent for singing lessons
because it was thought that this might help her learn to speak

Вы знаете, не только у вас создается впечатление чего то сверх естественного, Диана обладает уникальным голосом, ставящим в тупик и вводящим в ступор профессионалов оперной и эстрадной сцены со всего мира. К слову сказать, мужчина, который соскочил с места и простоял все время песни всемирно известный оперный певец Юсиф Айвазов, который был поражен не менее вашего. Поверьте, есть чему удивляться, у этой девочки в 18 лет глубокое контральто, причем яркое сочетание колоратурного и драматического, у нее уникальный диапазон в нижнем регистре, и довольно высокий для контральто в верхнем диапазоне, а это в принципе уникальное сочетание, кроме того Господь одарил ее голос богатыми полифоническими обертонами, возможностью произносить несколько звуков в разных диапазонах одновременно, и и вентрологией, которую в простонародии называют чревовещаем. И всем этим набором Диана искусно управляет. К слову сказать, подобная особенность была и у легенды Имы Сумак. Одно время бытовало мнение, что это помощь звукорежиссеров, но когда слышали ее исполнения тех же композиций но акапелла, то скептис проходил, наступал шок. Оно и понятно, на сегодняшний день диапазон у Дианы обширный, от "Ре" малой октавы внизу до "Си" первой октавы на грудном регистре и "Ля" второй октавы в головном регистре вверху. Нужно учесть, что Диана постоянно продолжает совершенствовать и расширять свой диапазон, так что она продолжит нас удивлять своим искусством, наша Королева мурашек!!!
