Forget the range and the incredibly dark tone she possesses- while these are highly impressive, in and of themselves, the most truly remarkable part of this performance, to me, is the last part when she starts belting. I don’t think that anyone on Earth could be able to recreate that, at least not as easily and naturally as she did. It hits you like a sledge hammer and forces you only to watch in utter amazement. Afterward, the judges expressed their surprise that a young, teenage girl could have such a powerful column of energy inside her. They said that it was far beyond the level of the competition. I think that part of the impact also came from her soul. You can see everything in her eyes and body language- as a performer, she is so very expressive and you can clearly see that she was fully present and absorbed in the song. Honestly, the whole performance is a musical masterpiece

The show has an interesting premise. The performers are also the judges, so all the people you saw were her peers. This was the first show of the competition and I'm guessing, by their reactions, that many had not heard Diana sing before. If you can find video of the all of the shows, they are well worth watching. The level of talent was excellent and it was all highly entertaining.
Man, chills all over. She's impressive as a performer too. Her range and tone is shocking even if you've seen some of her other material - I really like "Rechenka" from a different talent show a few years back. The show has an interesting premise. The performers are also the judges, so all the people you saw were her peers. This was the first show of the competition and I'm guessing, by their reactions, that many had not heard Diana sing before. Here are three reasons why Diana (the Queen of Goosebumps) doesn't sound human. First, she is a contralto, which is the absolute rarest type of female voice. It allows her to sing very dramatic/powerful, very (I mean VERY) deep, very dark, very rich. Second, she has a spectacular larynx. She's been called the vocal Eighth Wonder of the World. Third, she is polyphonic, which means she can produce multiple harmonics within her voice at the same time. This is what allows her to sound like two people at once. (more below) When you add all that up you basically get a person who creates her own auto-tune. She doesn't need electronic auto-tune. She IS her own auto-tune. And the effect when you hear her is totally mind-blowing. It's like she's singing right through you, like a sword straight into your soul. Literally NOBODY else on the planet has a voice like hers. She's not one in a million, she's one in eight billion.

Please do follow the suggestions and review the fourteen year old Diana performing the song "Rechenka". She might not have displayed the vocal range that she does here, but a book could be written about all of the different techniques that she employs. Beyond that, the performance is a true work of art.
