@Sptsmn700 I don't know about about "quick", lol. I only placed 9th out of 11 in Open quad. I would have hit the first lap, but the beast wouldn't start on the start so I was last into the corner, and no in front of me hit it, and I didn't want to land on anyone.
@butterfinger2482 I don't know much about your Raptor, but I'd compare it to my 300EX, so I'd say 3rd gear about 3/4 or more on the throttle. Don't do do it if you think you can't make it, you gotta know that you'll clear it.
Nice jump man! I've hit that on my 300ex once, ate shit the second time around trying to clear it though. Never tried to do it during a scramble, so props on that.
@butterfinger2482 Well, since your Raptor weighs almost 200lbs less than my 700, and you weigh about 50lbs less than me, I'd say that you wouldn't have much trouble clearing it. But, you have to go into it all the way, no second guessing it. You don't want to come up short on the jump because you may get bucked over the handlebars.
During the harescramble I was in, the trail for the jump came out of the field. The last time I was there to watch before that, the trail came out right after that little creek, so there wasn't as much of a running start compared to when I was hitting it.
I don't have it anymore, traded it for a street bike last fall. I did see it on craigslist a few months ago in Buffalo, and it looked like it was in good condition.

@xplotion360 Its not as bad as it looks, I would jump it with my old Honda Recon. The straight away is plenty big enough, and with a powerful enough bike you just put up to it and blip the throttle and over over it.

I was running Maxxis Razr 2's all the way around, 23" up front and 22" in the back. They are bereft for a sport quad tire.

That jump is one of the the most fun jumps I've ever hit. I ride a crf 250 r and go big everytime.
