Michael, I just got off the phone with you at Comcast. That thing sounds awesome! Enjoyed speaking with you very much! My condolences on your sons passing. What a blessing that you got to share moments like this with him.
We just talked about losing our sons and it made me realize that there are far too many of us that have lost a child and somehow we always seem to find each other either by coincidence or by design so we don't feel so alone with our pain. Whichever it is I am glad we ran into each other because I believe it helps keep their memory alive in our hearts and in our daily lives and reminds us that we will be together again and no matter how angry we are, we need to remember that there's a reason even if we don't understand it now we soon will, we just have to be patient and believe me I know it's the hardest thing I've ever had to do but that promise is something I will never jeopardize, so I will be patient no matter how much it hurts.
I wish they would of kept producing the Capri! It would bee cool in this modern day to have two different mustangs body styles to choose from! Like a mustang brother!
Shes the forgotten muscle car. Never gets mentioned on any top 80s car lists. I havent seen one since then. Why is that? It looks so awesome. Just like a mustang.
These are awesome cars I like those different style of tail lights and the window in the hatch which really gives it that fastback look I remember seeing one back when I was a kid back when 5.0 mustangs were the car to have. I always dreamed of getting car like that to drive to school when I was a kid. I graduated from highschool first thing I did was got a really good job and used my graduation money to buy a 86 GT which it now has a 351 Windsor. I had a 83 GT in highschool which I built a 302 up for it but I did not like T-Tops because they leaked and I could not afford to fix it. The new rubber moldings at the time was over 400 to fix just a lot of money for something that may have leaked again when fixed so I just traded I for a Ranger pickup. I have always wanted to put a 87-93 Mustang front end on a Mercury Capri body. But it would be hard to make it work with the flared fenders but I have always like the Mercury hood scoop the rear quarter sail panels and tail lights better then the Mustang. If a guy could some how combined some of these things into one just think how nice that would look I am wanting that sharp look the go with the cragar welds.
@@CapriNamedKong so sorry. I had a very difficult loss myself. My mom passed suddenly it was unexpectedly. As a father and a person who has felt the pain of a close loss, my deepest condolences.
'80 Capri was my first car. Funny how the second generation Capri had the "widebody" straight from the factory that all the kids pay so much for these days. Mustangs are like bellybuttons, everyone has one. Hang on to that beautiful car as long as you can. 👍
Nice. I used to have one of these! ('84 with headers, holly, in black silver/orange stripe) Up here in Canada. I bought it off a Hell Angel's Enforcer named Carlos. Fuck, just the sight of that thing in the right neigbourhood would scare the piss out of people, thinking it was collection time. Mean looking car. Little did they know it was a skinny white boy driving, ha!
2015 the car attended Boston world of wheels,Several shows and it spent a weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway as a Vip guest with Hagerty insurance
So sad all the badge switching GM did in the late 80s early 90s till about 97. That's not a Capri, capri's were small coverable slightly boosted fwd cars. Not old mustang 5.0s with a taillight conversion
My condolences to you and your family. Beautiful car, my friend.
Thank You
Thank You
I had an 80 flat hatch 2.3L OD 4 spd stick. Wish I still had it 40 yrs later.
Magical video. Rip. Also that car is amazing
Thank You

Let's make this go viral in the algorithm boys, get a million views for this man.
Thank You
I wanted that car when I was about 19 or so.
Beautiful car!
Thank You
Nice car, my first car was a 79 Capri. Always loved that style, something a little different than a Mustang.

Beautiful Capri; may your son's memory always ride with you. 🙏🙏

I had an '82 Capri with a 200 or 250 I-6. (can't remember specifically)
Of all the Fox Bodies, the '82-'83 is by FAR the best looker of the group!
I wish they would of kept producing the Capri! It would bee cool in this modern day to have two different mustangs body styles to choose from! Like a mustang brother!
Very cool! Reminds me of a later fox body

My first car.... Best of the best!
awesome!
Beautiful
I did not remember the existence of this magnificent car, similar to the mustang but this is superior
I do love a 5.0 Merc!
Dam!...i used to have a teal green 82 capri 5.0 standard and its been the best i ever had!
The front end is nicer than the stang
I'm sorry for your loss. Beautiful car, nice wheels, great color. Is it a manual? Sounded like it.
Thank You for kind words.
The Capri is a 1983 1/2 that came with a five speed.
My favorite car had the 81 83 84 85 86 all 5.0 84 was my first car ❤
Thank You
I’m very sorry for your loss. The car is a beautiful example of capri. May I ask what happened to Chris?
He was killed in a car accident.
He was a passenger.
It’s always ok to ask.
Thank You ❤️

I had a four-banger bubble butt for my first car!
My first Capri was a 1979 4 cylinder.
I miss that car.

Drive it a Mustang meet and you'll be looked at more than any Mustang

It’s a fox body Mustang but in a leather coat

This is a capri, there were three different generations of the capri, this being the second and the 90's was the third
Wrong
I take it you have never seen a real Capri 😁
Sounds mean
Rest in peace? that sounds bad.. 😞
Thank You ,
I appreciate your kindness.
