Good observation. I put the scope on for demonstration purposes only. Not sighted in or setup for use. Just to show what it looks like with a scope on the rifle. Thanks for watching. Stay safe and healthy. Peace
@jacobsandoval1193 I'm not sure why that is. This scope was just a display. Not set up for actual use. I'm currently using a red dot on the Rossi, because this is more of a short-range rifle in my opinion. 😎 Thanks for watching. Stay safe and healthy. Peace
sounds great, i did the same on my aea big bore .357 air rifle, 4 inch deck screws right through the buttpads and into the wood stock, no tape neeed. and took time to cut a hole in the wood to put a mag into. hahaha and remembering grandpas break action 410 the 320fpe my big bore has is not far off. but nice survival gun there.
@@travislupum ya know i would buy one but that company does not seem toknow how to make a airgun with a magazine.(scratching head in frustratio at the idiots of this world that manufacture airguns 50 miles to thewest of my location) if i wanted a useless heavy hitting air rifle i would have bought the hammer. but my aea .51cal seems to do the job fine at 350fpe pump action and regulated. 6 shot mags. sodoes my challenger elite at 500fpe and 6 shot mag. and y know my aea element max is single load and makes shots at 600fpe at the moment but seems to only get 6 decent shots like the texan so it stays on the wall. loaded with twenty rubber .50cal balls just in case i need rbber to fly around the house for some reason. enjoy your texan. and tell them to make one with a mag of at least 4 shots ability but 6 is my standard and anything more than 6 shot capacity is a sure buy for me. so ya just tell them to make one with a mag. thanks
@rodball2962 I live in Michigan and get most of my firearms from Michi-GUN, Dunham's or Action Impact. If you don't like Michigan, your local FFL Dealer can probably order it for you. Hopefully, this was helpful. Thanks for watching. Stay safe and healthy. Peace
Never think ive called a rifle cute before, but id say thats a cute rifle! My and in 45 colt? Oh man i might need to get one of these! Wonder if she can handle the +p buffalo bore/underwood rounds? Looks very nice 👍
It's cute with an attitude! 😂 The Rossi Tuffy Survival rife is an awesome little budget carbine. It's definitely worth looking into. Thanks for watching. Stay safe and healthy. Peace
@EricElliott-h1m Thanks for the info. Really wish that there was a smooth bore option for this rifle/carbine. Not as accurate as one with rifling, but accurate enough for my intended purposes. 👍😎 And I wouldn't have to worry about trying to change chokes. Thanks for watching. Stay safe and healthy. Peace
I like it, but how realistic is a .45 lc/410 as a survival tool. .45 lc is extremely expensive as well as 410 when you can find more than a box or two.
While I like the Idea of the two calibers they are not the easiest to get your hands on and if you find any worth having they are extremely expensive. The three gun stores in my area might have 410 buck shot suitable for Quail and great for the occasional rattle snake in my wood pile. The .45 Colt I have never seen in the gun stores except in the Cowboy loads so you would have to special order ($$$) them. I would like to see a gun with interchangeable barrels like 12 gauge, 223, 308 and 30-06. Pistol Calibers how about 357, 44 mag and if you insist .45 Colt. except for the 357 I reload all of those calibers and most are readily available at most Gun stores if you don't reload your own.
BE SURE TO WATCH the videos of the Rossi 350 Legend WHO_TEE_WHO made! That rifle lived up to my expectations for a Rossi: TEN ROUNDS FIRED, EIGHT CASES SPLIT. I am familiar with Rossi as far back as the 1970's, when a friend of mine bought a Rossi revolver. The first I was aware of him owning it was when his hand was bandaged heavily and he had splints on a few fingers. Oh, and a Rossi revolver in splinters. Today, not only would I NOT buy a Rossi, nor fire one at all, I will not knowingly stand anywhere close to someone who does fire one. I have a severe SHRAPNEL ALLERGY!
Am I the only one that noticed the scope alignment?

brother they have a longer stock on the rossi sight
Rossi makes a spacer/longer stock for the Tuffy shotguns. Might fit your survival rifle, but I don't know for sure.

Won't shout 410 slugs with a rifle barel. But like the gun.
You can fire 410 slugs through it so long as you have the plain choke in. The manual also says so. I’ve fired some at a range and it worked great!
Okay I never had that luck. But that was years ago.
The twist rate is really slow. Like 1:24 I think.
Would be a little more awesome if it was threaded.
Take that massive scope off that type of rifle! Red dot will work fine!
