I just wanna say as a hardcore bears fan who watches every episode of Hoge & Jahns, CHGO and every press conference it was really nice to her JD’s voice again ❤🐻⬇️
As a Bears fan, Lions will win 41-17. Bold prediction, Flus will not use a regular time-out in the first half and Bears commit a penalty after a time-out sometime in the 2nd half. Not so bold prediction, Flus will NOT get fired after a big loss of 24 pooints.
I appreciate getting straight to the Ben Johnson discussion, we need to keep eyes forward. I wonder was there any chance to build a relationship between Poles and Johnson at BC. I know there time didn’t overlap but just wishing…
Was the Addison catch not a good challenge because they should know the sideline camera couldn’t be used or because he was clearly in-bounds? I’ll admit I wasn’t fully paying attention to the game at that point.
Hodge-Podge, you guys rock! This is way better than watching CHGO Bears or Cubs look at their phones, waiting for their turn to do an advertisement read. It's like watching teenage girls read sports news.
I'd take Josh McCown over Ben Johnson as head coach. Josh has been a head coach at lower levels of play, plus he's been a good offensive coordinator for Minnesota and QB coach at other stops. But the biggest factor in his favor was the IT factor he displayed while as a player. He didn't have the strongest arm or the fastest feet, but he was a very astute QB that maximized his opportunities. I think that's really important as head coach is about making good decisions on context of the game more than anything else. Josh has repeatedly demonstrated he can make good decisions very quickly.
@@petehaglund8840 See, you didn't interpret what I said. I said the "IT" factor is the biggest factor. You don't have to be a former player to have the IT factor. The IT factor is defined by awareness, knowledge, experience and applying them in the moment. It's mostly a mental skill. Larry Bird had IT, that's why he was successful as both a player and coach. People with the IT factor generally succeed at whatever they apply themselves to do. Josh McCown has that skill. It's not as strong as it is with Larry Bird, but he has it.
Low key hope the Lions win the SB. Then Ben Johnson will for sure feel like his business is complete there and will move on to be an HC. Idc what anyone says... Bears would by far be the most attractive job. Give me a break with the cowboys. Aging team and their owner who is their GM and makes awful decisions. Highly doubt Ben would want that even with how established Dak is.
@@bobsprecher1802 my fellow lions fans have suffered our whole lives and we finally have a team that can contend and everyone wants to hit us with the past again! Like we haven't been through enough already! Come on man 🤣 the past doesn't dictate the future. Atleast one bears fan ain't trying to beat us up about it lol
I unsubscribed from chgo after carm called for violence on butker for having a reasonable take on traditional norms. I am now unsubscribing from this because these snow flakes fled to blue sky. When will the bears and the people around them realize they're on the wrong side of history? There's a reason the entire state is trying to leave cook county. I hope they succeed. Is there any bears coverage that isn't woke?
Wow JDs voice! Cool audio. Loved his emotion in his reporting.
JD was the man
lions' 35 the bears 23 go the bears

Lived in Kalamazoo for a year and miss that Steak n Shake dearly, especially the chili.
Putting one in the air for JD!🙏🏾

I actually teared up hearing JD’s voice. Didn’t think that would happen.

Blackout Wednesday is deffff a Chicago thing. We're big drinkers baby 🤣

The presentation of the turducken just isn't the same without Madden.
WTF is Bluesky?
It’s twitter but for sane people.
Its an echo chamber for the mentally weak with TDS
@@robvoase How's that migrant crime wave treating you blokes in The UK?
What if Eberflus & our D exploits Ben Johnson tomorrow? Is he off the list of potential HC's?! 😅
The injured Lions are going to murder the cubs…

Being a good football player doesn’t quality you as a good coach

@ Mccown doesn’t have it
The bears cant stop the run.
This game is over before it began andnit wont be close
You were hella wrong. Hold this L 😂😂😂
Please choose the "stable volume" option when uploading. The hosts tend to mumble the endings of sentences, making them inaudible.
It also doesn’t help that when Jahns moves even an inch away from his microphone he sounds like he’s whispering. His mic sensitivity is wack
Yea, they need to level set those mics - Can barely hear Jahns sometimes.
I like to imagine that this is the same guy with three different accounts astroturfing the audio comment
@@slowburn312 same happens on the CHGO post game podcasts.
Packer weather is as big a myth as Bear weather. They’ve lost at home in the playoffs recently to Tampa, San Fran, and the Rams.
Actual episode starts at about 13min. Before that they ramble about nothing. You're welcome.
Thank you for saving my time Bear down
Thanks
Especially over the blue sky stupid nonsense.
Thank you. They were starting to annoy me.
Best podcast. Stop bringing up John Shoop😅 old crazy eye

Well good luck with that

Blue sky 🤣🤣🤣🤣
So lame
Lions been ending bad streaks while breaking franchise records! Thanksgiving game just another box to check off! #OnePride 🦁
