Didn’t work wirelessly or through usb in my 14’ civic. You need hdmi to broadcast your phones screen to the head unit.

Hi! Can you help me where I can find those cables!!! I found the lightning adaptor in Apple but the 2nd cable that attaches to the car with Hdmi and USB I can't find it! :(

You can buy them from your local Honda dealer or you can go to this site to buy them online: www.hondanavi.com
Buy them on amazon or ebay. I got all of my stuff $45 on amazon. $8.25 for the USB+ HDMI and $37 for the Lightening adaptor. Don't spend more than you have to.

A55tech Starting with the 2016 Pilot you will no longer need the cable, you will be able to connect wirelessly. It will also now work with Apple & Android devices. As the Honda models are redesigned, they will all work this way.

The 2016 HR-V still requires the cable. My understanding is that the rest of the 2016 models will not need to cable, but we will have to wait until they are released to be sure.
The title says this is a Navigation Demmo. The Nav App is barely mentioned. How do you use the Nav App? How do you store a favorite place? Why does it always say it can't connect to server and will go no further? What server is it unable to connect to? Why?

also I tried connecting it today and it wouldn't work, the navigation button wouldn't come up and it continuously said my Phone wasn't connected when Bluetooth said I was so...(???)

this app is bug-ridden. Costs 60 bucks to be able to connect your phone to the screen for navigation! Many features not supported for iphone 6. Not worth the hassle. The 2015 civic display is the worst piece of technology I have ever dealt with, and the support for it from Honda is non existent. Search the app store; read the reviews.
Is Honda employing embedded systems engineers? If they are, they are hiring the most incompetent engineers in the industry.
I would rather just use my phone than deal with the hassle and complication of this hondalink system. It is dangerous to use while driving.

A55tech It is a one time cost, but it does not currently work on Android devices.
$60 1-time navigation is fantastic... u saved urself $4k for the navigation system, except u have to pay that $100 garbage cable that Apple probably made $98 out of it.
+723lion it's actually not $4k for nav, and $0 to use my phone instead works better. This is where Honda scored lowest on consumer reports. They have terrible infotainment system.
Honda has the absolute worst MMI of any manufacturer. BMW and AUDI are leaps ahead but of course it comes at a cost. Still, Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge vehicles have a decent UCONNECT with gamin-based navigation. So much more user friendly!

just like the Navigation system's map. Brand new car and GPS didn't show 3 years old bridge on it. And I was suppose to pay extra for an update that probably wasn't up to date. Hell with this. I use Waze.

Ravi Z What do you use as navigation? I just got a 2015 civic this week. I looked into this video but found out about a month ago they just randomly took HondaLink connect, Honda Navigation, Honda aha, and Honda launcher all off of the App Store for no reason. I called their support, had to give random information for 30 minutes, just for them to say they don’t know why they took it down but there’s nothing they can do. There’s now no possible way to use 3rd party or even standard Honda apps unless you already had the app downloaded. It’s actually ridiculous.
