Hi, this is all great information, thank you! In the beginning, you mention the video will cover homes built on hillsides. I'm not sure if I missed that part or it was omitted by accident or it's the same as a non-hillside home with a cripple wall. I recall seeing in another of your videos an illustration implying the approaches in this video would not work well due to varying stiffness with varying heights along the side... and a steel anchor was the only solution. I believe that's what's described on your website as well.

The best 40 minutes of education I have gotten in a long time, and just what I needed to know before working with a contractor to upgrade the 1914 house on Bainbridge Island, WA that I hope to purchase. Do you have any recommendations for firms to work with up here?
What about if it is a concrete house need to retrofitting at the lower part of the house which is the foundation.What r the possible methods shall be used? Pls do a video regarding this.
