C-Dro! It is so incredibly inspiring to see you catch your first green river king! You are so resilient and dont give up. Thats awesome bro! (ps. when are you available to fish the green river together? Possible in the coming weeks for b-run coho?)
I been away trying other fisheries. probably next week I will target some b-runs and some chums on the green. need to scout new spots next week, ill let you know when im down there, add me on Facebook.
@@darrynxo9277 hell yeah! At least you know you’re getting some bites. Keep at it and eventually it will pay off, the reward is so much better when you work for it! Good luck! Let me know when you land your one!
Great job! This year it seems like the kings definitely came in thick into the green. I’ve been catching them non stop up in auburn. They are darker and we can’t keep them but they are still biting and fighting!
@@brianm1259 I work hard labor job and fish too much lol no time for editing , really awesome season this year, I’ll for sure try to do better posting on time
I enjoyed that. First I was a little alarmed at what you were doing with that salmon - mincing it up like that. I prefer it whole in a nice filet - but what you made there looked excellent.
@@Seanbootth 3 jacks 3 adults, but if You get your first 3 adults first your done. Someone correct me if I’m wrong. Says must retain first two kings meaning can’t keep anymore after 2. You can double check on the Washington fish app by just clicking on a body of water, usually tells you everything you need to know. That’s what I use
@@cdro670 I’m actually from Canada Bc and was just curious about other peoples fishing regs. Thanks for sharing it’s pre interesting what other places are like.
just got to have the right Egg Cure brother! and you can catch chrome kings ANYWHERE especially down low on the river system, being up this high most kings are already Dark brown. look for bends on google maps, and you will find your hole just bring a MACHETE, most of the spots I fish I MADE or someone else did but I clear it out and sometimes takes me hours.

@@cdro670 Yeah… Now that I think of it I think I even mentioned it in another of your videos last year and you told me then too. My bad
@@guaporeturns9472lol it’s good to point it out though for new viewers/fisherman to take note of. Thanks for the reminder/tips!

Been a minute!
lol I was starting to get worried myself! I have lots of other KING fishing videos coming up!
What hook size you using bro?
@@tyhguy size 1/0 but I learned to go bigger, I found out the kings have large bony jaws, I go size 2/0 now.
Do you know why you have to keep your fire two ?
from what I heard, its to protect the kings, your first 2 then your done for keeping king, (coho would be your 3rd and final adult)
@@cdro670 oh wow so your only allowed to retain 3 fish a szn on that system?
