Torres del Paine W Circuit Unguided 2024

Does doing the W trek worth it?
If you're looking to be wowed by the sheer majesty of hiking in Chilean Patagonia, then yes, the W Trek is most certainly worth it.
We backpacked on our own, renting campsites,brought our own food. Super well-marked trail, no need for a guide if you are comfortable hiking.

First, you need to get your Entrance to the park

Second, you will have to check the availability of the campsites. it depends on where you want to start you W trek, Ours, we started at Camping Central, while others wants to start in Paine Grande.

you can book the
Sector Central, and Sector Frances
here if you are going to do the W trek.you don't have to stop in every campsites, now, if you are going to stay in Camping frances, you'll have to leave your big bag in camping frances, to do the trek to Britanico or....do the trek on the same day that you'll gonna go to Paine grande and leave your big bag at Camping italiano(then come back,pick up your bag, then continue to paine grande)
Third, this is gonna be your last stop, Paine grande, we booked a two nights camping here so we can rest the first day, and then do the trek going to Grey glacier the second day.

after you book the campsites, you'll have to book you bus ticket from
Puerto natales - Laguna amarga (base torres-central)
to
Pudeto(Catamaran Paine Grande)-Puerto Natales

you don'thave to book the boat ride going back to puerto natales from Paine Grande because you'll have to pay as you ride the boat IN CASH
