My grandfather had one of these,we pulled it with a WD. He used it on his organic wheat and oats. It was really interesting machine to use. He had tons of spare parts for it . Wish I would've had the money to buy some of the equipment when he retired.

My Dad had the 66 all-crop. We never used the reel with the pickup attachment though. Never seen that before. He would take the pulley off the reel and pull out the reel. It appears there is an added section to the unloading auger as well.

I understand that the vid was to show the pick up, but it would have been nice to see the finale product of seed in the hopper.

You are correct, a shot of the clean grain would have been great.

    Hi
Does anyone know where I can find a windrow pickup to fit the AC 72?
    Thank you very much.

I am dumbfounded as to why th3 oats were wind rowed? Unless the cutter bar was not on the combine. However, nice to see the older equipment is still getting it done when ran as designed.

Very good question! Last season a cover crop of Sudan grass was planted and left go to seed. This season the oats were planted and since it’s organic no herbicide’s could be used. So the Sudan grass took over the oats to the point one couldn’t hardly see the oats. The only way to combine was to cut everything down and let the Sudan grass dry so it could flow through the combine and get separated out easily. I will be getting a video together to show the whole process from cutting to bailing the straw. I hope I answered your question thoroughly.

A lot of green grass/weeds bogging it down. Ground speed is a bit fast and why isn't the scourclean weed seed separator working? They were a great feature that no modern combine to my knowledge has, they just dump them back on the ground to grow again.

The ScourKleen is working great. All of the weed seed are collecting in the pan below.

Did you use your 80R sickle mower to cut the oats? Is there a particular reason the All-Crop has dual wheels? Thanks for another great video..I'll be sure to rewatch it in January to remind me of these fine, late summer days.

I did use the 80R mower. The duel wheels help in soft ground. Also if there are any rabbit holes the harvester rolls right over them instead of dropping in. Thanks for watching!

What is that horizontal cylinder thing on top of the grain bin doing? Looks like some king of final separator.

It’s call a scour-Kleen. It was made by Hart-Carter Co. and it add a little more cleaning capacity.

What kind of horse power do you need from a tractor to pull something like this?

The tractor I use has 29hp and it handles the combine easily.

Please do watch the whole video and please keep commenting. This video was intended to show the use of the pick up attachment, which you don’t see very often.

I think I have too small a pulley on my pick up attachment, yours looks fifteen inch I think I am running eleven. Reminds me to take it off the taper before it sticks because it has to pass thru the side. Broke one casting with a puller awhile ago, won’t make that mistake again. I also want to fabricate a wigwag spreader from the images in the parts catalog.
