You will see lol. They melted my asgards in 3 shots. They are dangerous. And i get overwhelmed now. They destroy all my assets i cant do anything. I dont get the point of this feature. Cant delay it or prep you just get destroyed and only you. No other faction is attacked...
The new Colossus only being able to carry 28 fighters seems abit weak, isn't it meant to be a carrier? or did they add more weapon slots to the E version to make it more of a hybrid?
Meh...is the Zeus E all over again. 😞 Make a ... carrier, I suppose...that is bigger 🤤, than the old variant, "neuter" the fighter capacity, make it slightly faster, et voila...the "fast response carrier"...that most players would not use, because any player that use a carrier "really" wants to have less fighters at its disposal.
Was never a fun of khaak as enemies. There is just not much you can do about hit scan weapons. I wonder if bomber corvettes could be the optimal option to hunt khaak capitals. Not as squishy as S ships, but not as derpy as destroyers.
That shit's the reason why station attacks suck in VRO. Every time I launched a fighter strike at a xenon station it was a near 100% loss no matter the unit count. Laser spam out the ass. I resorted to using a fleet of ospreys which had the biggest healthbars by the numbers for an M ship, but they still just got shredded half the time.

After trial and error i just resorted to sending battleships with chil turrets mod. They would defang turrets by themselves ang kill the station in 5 minutes. Sadly removes all challenge, but xenon building a new one 2 minutes after you left the sector getting old very fast.
Hi I have been seeing a lot of videos on this update, I have all the DLC's but on my game it says version 6.20. Shouldn't it say 7.0 with this new update? I have removed all mods I had installed and done a clean install but it hasn't made a difference. Any help would be great.

I am going to be destroyed if this continues. And now i have invasions in 2 systems at once. And they only attack me and noone else. This is stupid. Boso keeps tellign i should be there early to see something. but i never find out what to do to stop the invasions. My 50 fighters are all gone from their never miss weapons. A ravager kills a S ship in one beam. Its so annoying.
I've end up using the power of money, a.k.a. taking the option to give 500kk to Boso. That because while I could deal with the Ravagers (destroyers only sport, btw, no S/M alowed), replacing the traders, miners and M ships that do anti pirate patrols around my stations and sectors was proving to be a hustle (5 here, 12 there, etc, with no way to automate replacing losses). So, I've return to a save at the moment I choose the dialog option, pay up and be done with the "awesome" new content.🤨
@@ragnos28 Men i dont have the money ;D. I think my main problem was i was in middle of a big fight in xenon territory as the crisis started. My defenses for stations are weak and ships far apart. And them jumping on your stations is rbutal this way. I always defended my stations with ships. I also learned today that Ships can aim up or down in X4. its so stupid and that causes the big ships to struggle getting their mainguns on targets if they are not on same height on the map.

About aiming, there is a discution on Ego forums and apparently: "NPC-controlled destroyers are prohibited from staying pitched up or down past a certain number of degrees from the ecliptic plane of a sector for extended periods of time. The AI scripts that control destroyers in combat require them to align themselves on roughly the same vertical plane with their target before attacking AI control of ships has a number of enforced behaviors/limitations like this, e.g. all NPC ships are programmed to keep themselves "upright" as much as possible. The limitations are less noticeable with small ships, as they have much more room to play with relative to their size and the distances they engage targets at." Also, many X4 players, at least on that topic, oppose replacing the main batteries of destroyers with turrets, that would aliviate that behavior...a strange take if you ask me. 😐

And while I could taken it on, order all M ships, patrols or otherwise, just engage Ravagers with destroyers and the like, I have a few carriers with fighters from failed combat tests, that patrol the Asteroid Belt sector to protect my miners from the Kha'ak, and when those were attacked, I was screw that, I'm out.🤪 As for your situation, maybe is better to return to a 6.20 save, and focus on getting the money required to opt out of the crisis.🤔

Yeah, works just fine with your current saves. But back them up, just in case you want to go back to 6.2. As for the crissis, the problem is, and that's the reason I've opt out from the mission, that the waves of Kha'ak capitals will jump in the middle of sectors were you have ships and assets and wreck havoc on your civilian infrastructure, all non L(and even L) ships will die. And while I have more that enough resources to replace those losses, doing so is a hastle, see from what factory the ships that were destroyed, 5 M patrols from that factory, 10 miners from another, 15 traders from another, and so on. And with no way to automate that process, I've end up using the power of money to avoid the crissis.😳 Plus, the Kha'ak capitals are deadly against fighters, so swarms are not that effective, that's why I recommend to have a beta save slot before you talk to Boso Ta, so you still enjoy the beta features, but can opt out from the crissis mission, if things get too hectic.

How do you select the entire fighter wing like that? Whenever I do it I have to shift+click every single one
You can double click the group line, the one named Alpha, B, etc. Also, click the first, shift, click the last one of your selection.
