Great review! We have this tent and love it! One thing to mention, after unzipping the windows, the flap can be tucked into the pocket under the window, they thought of everything. Ours has survived constant 30+ MPH winds at the coast and downpour rains with no problems! I did have to buy large nails for stakes for those winds though, it would have blown away with the factory stakes. We always get comments about how quick we setup camp with this tent, and how much room it has! I wish Walmart still had this model in stock.
Thank you for sharing a great and well descriptive video! After I seen your video, I convinced myself to purchase the 8 person ozark tent instead of the 6 person tent. The 8 person tent just looks a lot more spacious and taller. I can't wait to use it for my camping trip. yay !!!!!

I use Ozark Trail tents. I would just lay an outdoor rug on the ground outside the door and place it so part of it's under the tent. That little entrance mat they give you is about worthless.
Crazy Harry the Muppet-It doesnt leak if you waterproof it. I have 2 of these ozark trail instant tents. A dark rest 6 person and a dark rest 10 person. Spent the extra $20 to buy silicon waterproofer spray and seem sealer and its great. Weve used the 6 man tent in storms and windy weather both and it is a great tent. You should water proof any tent you buy regardless of if it says waterproof or not.

Most tents are waterproof for 1 or 2 campouts and after that they leak unless you use a silicone base spray
The floor mat doesn't connect to the tent because water builds up when/if it rains.
I think the orange is discontinue and only blue is available. They got a orange thats similar to this but single door
