@Daphne Van Zant isn't it strange how all of the religions in history seem to tell the same story, only different names, places, etc. The parallels between religions in history are incredible to me. My studies have come to the conclusion that every religion is teaching us one major thing: Treat others the way that you wish to be treated, be respectful.

Coming from and living in England as a non Muslim, after reverting I realised the ignorance of Christmas and all other holidays. You see people saying 'I don't think I have bought enough for my children..' what is this teaching them?! To be materialistic. They forget about isa pbuh all together. I love how Allah has restored his dignity. Alhamdulillah

I was raised Catholic, but I was not a confirmed Catholic. Nor was I a christian, I followed the ways of my family and my parents. I always thought Jesus was born on December 25th and I always wondered why there is always a tree 🌲 the evergreen on Christmas and all these different traditions. I embraced Islam at the age of 18, and even though my family bashes me for it, I hold Allah “SWT” in my heart always and our Prophet “SAW”
If Allah “SWT” had not guided me to this path I would not be here today, writing this comment. Allah “SWT” has always been in my heart I believe, and I didnt realize it until I was 18. My mother bashes me for it, she calls me a terrorist she calls my God a murderer. Even herself had said before that there is one god. The other day my mother and my younger brother saw a man parachuting and my little brother said “Watch out mom he probably has a bomb” and my mom laughs and says “Its maybe one of your brothers people” my own family calls me these horrible things. Even my grandmother the other day sent me a photo of Isa “AS” or Jesus, she is Catholic. And starts saying he is the son of god. I pray to Allah that he will guide my family to a straight path as he guided me. الحَمْدُ لِله ❤️

Remember God is always with you and he will not leave you nor let you down. God told us he would test all of us: ''Do people think that they will be left alone on saying, "We believe", and that they will not be tested?'' (Quran 29.2) also: ''Be sure we shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods or lives or the fruits (of your toil), but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere'' (Quran 2.115) even mentioned how Satan will wait to lead astray those who are on the right path: ''Satan said: “Because you have sent me astray, surely I will sit in wait against them (human beings) on Your Straight Path. Then I will come to them from before them and behind them, from their right and from their left, and You will not find most of them as thankful ones (i.e. they will not be dutiful to You).” (Quran 7.16-17) But all this is for a reason, everything happens for a reason, whether it's good or it's bad, this life is a test from God. Just look at Prophet Ayoub (Job) (PBUH) and how he was tested by God, he had everything but was left with nothing. Year after year he prayed to God, even though he was hit with one suffering to the next and it seemed as if God was not answering his calls for help, was God even listening to him? However Ayoub (PBUH) remained patient and faithful and eventually God blessed him with more than he had ever before in this life and he will be even more blessed in the next.

This was the most explained way that I've ever encountered .... Thank you ... I will be further researching this as a 'Believer' who has stopped celebrating Christmas. I was raised in the lie of SANTA CLAUS. I was told IF I WAS A GOOD CHILD then I would receive the toys I wanted. WE WERE POOR! So Santa Claus never brought me what my heart desired. For the last 30+ years of my life, I have always celebrated Christmas but it was only from last year (2020) that I started having serious questions.
This December (2021), my Family and I did not have the usual celebrations and on December 31st, I decided to Fast and Pray as opposed to the usual routine of Merrymaking.
I went on my knees and asked God to open my eyes to the truth of WHO I really am, WHAT His purpose for my Life is and HOW I ought to live. I surrendered myself entirely to God and sought Love and Truth.
It is barely a week and I have found myself watching this video. It makes so much sense in so many aspects!

Wow! I was raised in Christianity and celebrated this pagan holiday without knowing the truth behind it. I prayed ( last yr September) to Yah (God) and ask him to reveal the Truth to me about everything including my people (African Americans) and I'm still Learning. We in America are "Programmed" to believe that all Muslims are bad people which is a bunch of lies! Muslim Brothers have been accused of the attacks on 911 which God has been revealing the truth through the Internet how evil the American Government and other Governments truly are. For the record I've always loved people period and have raised my children the same and to fear God and I don't mean the one America and the Roman Catholic church has decieved most of us to believe is the true creator.

I am a Christian but do not observe Christmas or Easter or Halloween. Many Christians do not. We already knew truth, like the Bereans of Acts 17. We also know that Jesus Christ is much more than a prophet.

Dr Abdullah Hakim Quick was born in the United States of America. He is of African American, Caribbean and Mohawk descent. He was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts and grew up in Boston. He received a Bachelor's Degree from the Islamic University of Madinah in 1979. He was one of the first two students from the west and the first American to have done so and receive an Ijazah. He received a Master's Degree and PhD from the University of Toronto. His thesis was an analysis of the life and writings of Sheikh ‘Uthman Dan Fodio, a great West African Scholar, warrior, and social activist.
