Zaouli’s reticle is noticeably higher than the barrel. You can either aim lower to match head height or you can put Arrowhead Break and spec into stability to keep the recoil down. Explosive payload would also compensate for range loss.
This is anecdotal, but I had a noticably harder time hitting crits with explosive payload on this hand cannon. It felt like the accuracy cone was smaller or something.

Crisis Inverted with Moving Target/Rapid Hit/Under Pressure and Rangefinder/Kill Clip is a pretty nice energy hand cannon. The Omolon perk helps with stability too
I don't know what the deal is with Crisis Inverted, but it is the only hand cannon that I truly pop off with. So naturally I stopped using it because I "got bored" even though I'm not nearly good enough to "get bored" and what I'm actually doing is using weapons that I can't get kills with and suffering.
cantata-54 or whatever it is is also a great option

Get the Omolon bonus for the first 5 shots, get Under Pressure for the last 5 shots. One of my favorite handcannons

@@SirDimetrious Farm Cantata from the starchart in the helm. All it takes is 10 shards and an umbral engram for a guaranteed suros gun (or any foundry). It can roll rapid hit or Eye of the Storm and rangefinder or opening shot.

the Cantata-57 handcanon is pretty close to the palindrome in terms of how good it is (tho it doesnt win from adept palindromes) but you can focus suros foundry engrams at the helm on the treasure map thingemgic from this season, which makes it fairly farmable compared to random world drops.

Waking Vigil honestly gets kind of slept on, I use one with rangefinder opening shot and it does me well with a wastelander

It kinda kicks like old thorn back in forsaken to me, big model that flies into the air from one shot and you cant see a thing.
The rolls on this thing have to be just right to have enough stability for me, I have one with like 65 stability which is lower than I usually use on 140s, that absolutely sucked but proc'ing well rounded makes it feel amazing.

Bro I am LOVING my Zaouli’s with hammer forged, accurised rounds, opening shot and either explosive payload or eye of the storm. I’ve not seen anyone on TH-cam really with that roll and I wish more people would try it with better rolls! Everyone’s like “it’s meh” while using a trash roll of it lol.

Can i just throw a different angle on this? The optics in terms of the scope are fucking great for my terrible eyes. Whatever it might be lacking 'slightly' compared to other more established handcannons it makes up for by looking , sounding and feeling awesome overall especially on the scope visuals!

I got a 81 range cantata with steady hand and timed payload with 400kills I love it
just focus a bunch of umbral engrams into Suros weapons, you can get the Cantata and the Pizzicato this way, both top tier weapons
1:31 yeah connection has been awful since they changed the matchmaking system. All my matches as full of sweats _and_ they lag. The whole reason I enjoyed D2 pvp was how chill it was.

If you put a counter balance mod on it..it takes recoil to 100. Little easier to control that screen eater of a gun. Hope this helps you like this gun a little more

Honestly I was expecting it to not be good as it feels more like a pve handcannon but it's fun and I spent all my spoils on so I might just use it

I got accurised, explosive, eye on my roll, and it just doesn’t feel right. I thought “hmm, energy fatebringer?!” But then I realised I hate fatebringer. Depending on what bungo do with the adept raid weapons, if they get an enhanced perk or something I might try it again, but this hand cannon just ain’t it
If you need energy primaries, you can focus umbrals into suros weapons at the star chart for just 10 legendary shards + the umbral itself and Cantata is my favorite energy hand cannon (don't have a pali :( )
Look for a Cantata with rangefinder, probably the best or second best energy HC
Animorphs was what you were looking for my brother in christ
Your best bet is to buy the suros engrams at the helm to get Cantata 57, also a good smg for kinetic.

My second drop (right after I got ToM) was the explosive/incandescent and honestly it's not great fun to use. For an incandescent I'd bring the Calus SMG out before this.
HOWEVER, I also got one with explosive/surrounded and it's pretty nice.

Honestly it may be its color for the reason why its better in less choatic fights. I dont really have anything to back this up but I had a shotgun that seemed to dramatically improve when I changed its color scheme to a darker color. I always thought the bright tan color of the shotgun, name which I cant recall, pulled my attention to it too much. Causing me to miss. Maybe its the same here? Idk XD
I very much think this handcannon is more suited for PvE than PvP. It has some stellar rolls for PvE, and just outclasses a lot of other handcannons in PvE.

Zaouli’s has a really low recoil direction for a hand cannon. Try counterbalance on it you might really like it. That’s what I use and the recoil feels better to me at least.
