I just found a beautiful, brown suede blazer yesterday at a vintage store that my daughter and I just happened to check out after a trip to a thrift store across the street from the vintage store. It has interesting details and fits me perfectly. I don't consider finding well-made, often one of a kind clothes at the thrift store as compromising. I have always had a mix of resale and new and have always been complimented on my outfits and style. My mom taught me and my sister to thrift when I was in elementary school and I'm 58 now. I also taught my kids to thrift, and all 3, who are now adults, shop regularly for new and thrifted items - clothing, accessories, and furniture. It does take patience and focus, but it's definitely great for our finances. Thanks for your video, your fashion finds, and sharing the spa and thrift store info. The next time I'm in NY, I'd like to check them out. Have a great week!

No eastern parkway for Labor Day 😂 I was in New York visiting family but I watched bits and pieces on TH-cam. I haven’t been to a parade since I was a kid because I’m not a fan of large crowds. I’m so ready for fall it’s not my favorite season but fall fashions are top tier.

I totally have champagne taste on a pbr budget. I was in goodwill looking around the other day and found a silk blouse from Anthro for $6 and a Hugo Boss blazer 100% wool that fits me to perfection for $10. I typically only buy shoes, bags, accessories new and thrift the rest. Knowing quality fabrics and construction as well as style trends is essential to me. I’ve lost 90lbs and am in need of a whole new fall/winter wardrobe. Your videos are so very helpful!

Hey best friend(in my head) My family goes to Martha’s Vineyard every year and this year i missed it due to work, but a time was had by everyone that went. This year seemed to be more celebrities on the island then normally i heard. So make sure you make it next year. Also the videos are not too long they are perfect ! 😊

You are so right about the quality. I purchased a few dresses a couple of years ago at an estate sale to sell on Poshmark. They came from Ann Taylor and Talbots, made of 100% silk! I just purchased a pair of pants on sale from MaxMara 100% virgin wool. Why they were poorly stitched. Loose threads everywhere and uneven hem lines. I am sending them back. Enjoyed all of the vlog! No need to condense the video.

Great video. 👏👏👏 I like Poshmark, Etsy, EBay for used clothes. I wear linen tops during the summer. While sitting in my chair, a parade of tops pass. I like Longchamp bags; great selection. I have a pair of brown suede Ferragamo booties perfect for my Autumn looks.
Love love this video ❤ I got a pair of suede boots years ago from Jcrew. It was so long ago that the shade of green is trending again 😂 I use a waterproof treatment spray and it works! I just go over them again and again, drying between coats. I've worn them in the RAIN and they look great still!
In the rain?😳 Wow ! I didn’t think about spraying more than once to protect them! I was thinking one and done!😂 I love that your boots are old J.crew! It shows that if you take care of your things they can last a long time. Now you have me thinking I can buy some suede boots and shoes!!😂
Oh I was in Cape May over Labor Day weekend, bummed i didn’t see you. Did you tour the Harriet Tubman Museum? it’s fairly new, when i went last year I thought they did a great job of connecting the past and the present. apparently one of the places she worked was Congress Hall, which I learned years ago taking a tour there.
Omg really!! 😩 I would have loved to meet you! The museum was closed when I was there but I will visit next time! I did tour Congress Haul and what a piece of history!! I didn’t record because it was packed, but the pictures on the wall of presidents ,folks that worked there back in the day and the fire was so interesting!
If I had to choose I would for sure choose Sojo over QC! QC was cute( and I’ll go again) but Sojo is top tier! So yes I agree.Do research before going. There were a few differences to note!☺️ Have a great week!❤️
