So, a nice little tip for when you're modding. Because most weapons have Impact, Puncture and Slash on them, upping those with dedicated mods doesn't have very good returns for the space they take up (except for niche builds). However, if you add on a damage type that's not native, like Toxin, Heat, Cold or Electric, it adds their damage as a percentage of your total base damage. So these mods are proportionally more powerful for the space they take up. Increasing the rank of the Elemental mods, then, is worth the Endo. A fully ranked Heat mod, for example, adds 90% damage as Heat, which will nearly double your total damage. With the Corrosive combo on (Electric and Toxin), you've nearly tripled it. In terms of damage increase, for the early game, this kind of thing is almost as powerful as the Multishot mods.
The basic damage mods seem to stack with the general increased damage mods multiplicatively rather than additively so depending on how skewed your weapon damage spread is, status damage mods could be outdone. Yeah, it wasn't that way in the past, but I've been grinding MR and experimenting with mod combos. I've noticed that's the way it's been working. Basically the best advice is experiment and use the extra load out slots to adapt for specific factions. You can get 50% more damage if you mod for a specific faction's weaknesses.
@@Ryan66437 You're not wrong to experiment more and take faction weaknesses into account, but I believe the point still stands. Adding 120% Slash to a weapon with 60 Slash, 20 Impact and 20 Puncture on it will give you 172 total damage to then add on something like Serration (with the switch up to how they stack, unlike before where it would just be combined with Serration). But add 90% Heat to it, and you get a total of 190 damage to then add Serration or other mods to. So, for early game where our Content Creator is, it works out as better use of his time. And then we can get into the more advanced status and damage type scaling later ^^
physical mods are almost never worth it unless you're looking to heighten slash proc frequency. The fact they are based off of the amount of that specific damage on the weapon, rather than the weapon's total damage like elemental mods, means that a 120% slash mod is more often than not much less than half the damage of even a 60% elemental mod :/ who knows *why* things are set up that way, it's just how it is.
@@Avoncarstien I know exactly why they were set up that way. It's because right up until the big Status Rework of 2023, the IPS damage types had 4x weighting for Status. So you would need 90 Heat to get it to proc more often than 20 Slash. And the original reason for this was that the older, slower version of Warframe actually did make the original Damage 2.0 IPS status types from Update 11 effective. Knock back and Weaken were actually useful due to the incredibly few methods we had of damage mitigation, plus Crowd Control really was king for a while. So for getting Bleeds, adding a 120% Slash mod used to be the most broken thing in the world. Because a weapon with 100 Damage with 40 of that being Slash would mean that even with 180 damage being added as Corrosive from two 90% mods would only barely make it proc Corrosive more often normally, while adding 120% Slash for 88 total Slash would mean that you'd need 352 damage of any Elemental to beat the proc weighting. Fairly nuts, at the time. Underwhelming currently.

Taking the time to explore, craft, and learn. This game is going to be a treat for you! And taking the time to grind new items while ones you've queued for crafting cook is an excellent strategy that'll mean you've always got something on the go and aren't just staring at a timer waiting for it to get done. The story ramping up you commented on has strangely not actually begun. This is just the appetizer. The truly exciting story is hiding further through the star chart. Oh, and you'll want to build that Nechramech you received. Progressing in the game will allow you to gain the ability to call it into your missions and swap between Warframe and Nechramech.
Open world feels like that, because depending where you are on the map the levels changes. On top of that it can feel like an endless mission given there's a "wanted level" like in gta that'll keep spawning enemies unless you destroy the beacons. So with those things combined there's likely more consistent and somewhat more sturdy enemies then you've been facing. Believe me when I tell you open world will eventually become just another back drop for missions as you progress. Generally speaking is the new game+ version of the game called steel path that gets most people's heart racing. Unless of course you cheese it with a few frames/gear setups that just make a mockery out of it.. but you are quite a ways from all of that, so enjoy the feeling while it lasts!
It's amazing to see a content creator enjoying the story quest or side quest in the game also does he know that the voidrig farm is going to be a bit hectic for getting the drops of the items that you need to build that bad boy
There is a point to creating a Frame you already have and its for the Helminth Segment you unlock on Deimos. Once you unlock that segment and install it you'll be able to Subsume frames. This allows you to take 1 of their ability (whichever set ability DE has decided for that frame) and replace any one of your abilities on a specific config with it. Subsuming a frame will consume it so thats why its good to use a duplicate. Or once you get a prime, you can subsume the non-primed variant.
I love watching this guy's play xD reminds me of the good Ole days Also, there is totally a use to killing those thumpers. They drop insane amounts of various loot drops from the plains, ranging from plants to fish parts. Maybe not at the moment, but eventually in the game it becomes more effective to farm those pieces from a thumper than to waste an hour fishing rare fish.
Corrosive is the way on Deimos. They’re immune to viral. And just for future, slash is always best in slot, viral enhances slash procs based on the number of procs. Heat staggers and temporarily reduces armor. So, small amount of viral, slash, heat is a good to for almost everything IF you’re looking to bleed things. Corrosive is usually best for raw damage, depending what you’re fighting.
I love Warframe and your videos are super great quality! Enjoying watching them! But, when you say, "The new player experience wasn't bad." → I mean you literally had a live stream of veteran players answering all your questions in real time and telling you where to go and what to do, reminding you to upgrade mods, explaining the damage system and so on... A normal player would have no clue about any of these things unless they read the wiki extensively! Just for some perspective man. Looking forward to more content!
The mechanical spiders drop a bunch of resources from the map, so you do not have to manually farm (plants/minerals). They are important down the line, they are NOT a must do but can be usefull. The resourcese are also used for rep with the village, IMO it is not that important to rise the rep but it is something to do. IDK if you were taught, but the amount of rep you can get with a sindicate is tied to your mastery rank. The higher mastery rank, the more rep you can farm each day (use it because rep is not cumulative, it gets to a cap).
@@tely101 some stances force certain procs like slash, some also have higher proc multipliers or just better movesets. They also work like melee aura mods by giving you extra mod capacity
Go get a combat stance. Hold the weapon swap, itll equip your melee and you can block by hitting aim. Also combat stances are like aura mods for your melee. And give you new combos, some even force proc status regardless of dmg typing. Like slash/bleed.
Whenever you have time, try the duviri paradox The duviri paradox is a really good way to try out new weapons as well as farm for different warframes with an augment for the warframe respectively.

Dude, you need to get a stance and some mods on that Nikana, it should be doing way more. (The faction specific damage mods are awesome when your late in the game and eeking that last few percent out, but your better off learning what elemental damage works on multiple factions well enough and putting endo into those mods. Once theyre all ranked to do +60% - 90% you can mix and match for any situation)
Matics if you have the animal instinct mod for your sentinel use it instead of thief's wit so you don't have to use up a valuable mod slot on your warframe. It will give you loot radar and enemy radar in one mod while you are using that companion. Also take assault mode off, it sucks for most mission types as it makes your sentinel attack everything that moves insead of enemies you are targeting.

Oh my. Oooooh my. A fresh Tenno, and from what few videos I've seen of yours, it seems you really enjoy it AND OOH THERES SO MUCH IN STORE FOR YOU!!!
So glad seeing new Tenno enjoying Warframe! You're gonna love it here.
Glad warframe got me to know you!
Love the new player experience. I live through these ppl.
Bro will become Mr30+ simple by all the stuff he will be given…
1:28 bro the two digits numbers to the level 16 jugger bringed me back
This is what Ive been waitiing for, a full playthrough of warframe, this is worthy of "Movie Night"
I can relive the new player experience
I love watching this guy's play xD reminds me of the good Ole days
Also, there is totally a use to killing those thumpers. They drop insane amounts of various loot drops from the plains, ranging from plants to fish parts. Maybe not at the moment, but eventually in the game it becomes more effective to farm those pieces from a thumper than to waste an hour fishing rare fish.
This game has consumed me. You know the game is greatness when you look forward to the next time you log on.
Deimos feels like a step up in quality because it's a *much* more recent addition to the game than just about anything you've touched so far ^_^
27:11 He got the fish part from the Thumper didn’t he? LMAO
13:50 just wait my dear friend the incarnon for it will make history for it
Lol I would love to see it being the best weapon in the game
Could make is like a meme and do the cod tactical nuke, then the hole map just dies
I hope it stinks forever actually
“This place is creepy” wait till bro gets further into the story I literally had to play it at the same time with a friend since I got so scared
"Spoilers" :he has done chains of harrow
the mission where you go to the heart of deimos deadset triggered my PTSD from the 'cortana' mission in halo 3
thumper drops all rare resources from the plains from mining and fish, so its definitely worth it!
@YISP7 sadly the exploit of healing well is gone and i need to do it the hard way or found a new exploit to kill the steel path one quickly
@@liamspruyt maybe the celestial stomp augment for wukong? It cc’s through overguard so it might work
The mechanical spiders drop a bunch of resources from the map, so you do not have to manually farm (plants/minerals).
Thanks for this.
For lore reasons, Gara is the saviours of the entire Sol system.
Temple Kuva is potent.
All the way to Deimos, and still no stance mods. Lmao, love baby tennos.
baby tenno here as well
why are they important?
@@tely101 some stances force certain procs like slash, some also have higher proc multipliers or just better movesets. They also work like melee aura mods by giving you extra mod capacity
Honest props to the editor for editing down hours of content into one 20 minute cohesive video
I love watching other peoples new player experience just to see how it compares to my own
Don't worry about the endless gifts. A lot of us have plenty of plat in stockpiled over the years. We even do giveaways from time to time. lol
Deimos Infested are considered a separate faction from Infested and are only weak to Blast and Gas, not Heat
I wish these were like an hour long 😭😭
Go get a combat stance. Hold the weapon swap, itll equip your melee and you can block by hitting aim. Also combat stances are like aura mods for your melee. And give you new combos, some even force proc status regardless of dmg typing. Like slash/bleed.
it seems exalted blade only comes out when things get too intense. nice
Just wait until he unlocks railjack
im going back to play some warframe, watching this has got me in the mood :D
Whenever you have time, try the duviri paradox
The duviri paradox is a really good way to try out new weapons as well as farm for different warframes with an augment for the warframe respectively.
Your fashion is hurting my eyes and i like that 👍
Ngl, this made me come back to warframe. Its not necessarily a coming back considering that i just didn't know how to log back in on my old acc💀💀
Warframe would be a lot of fun if people gifted me a bunch of stuff every time I logged in.
Sadly I'm not a popular streamer.
Mactics on his way to become the biggest warframe TH-camr.
The home of nidus; the god of warframes and space a|ds
This series is really well done and genuinely exciting to watch, can’t wait for future quests🤌
You getting hyped with the necramech was peak entertainment for me very cool to see, keep up the grind & uploads!

Whomever told you not to kill the thumper doesn't know that they drop one of the rarest mods in the game.
What mod is it?
@@rivershen8954 Auger Secrects which has a 1.5% chance to drop. There is like 9 mods the thumper can drop in total.
@@rivershen8954so looks like they did update the drop rates of all mods it can drop, but still not much of a difference. Potential mods are

@@millercalenI don't think fighting thumpers is good stream content unless the content is fishing
@@quantumblauthor7300 wasn't saying it was. Was just pointing out that thumpers are worth killing
I'm ~18 hours in, just finished the Heart of Deimos quest. I think it was done a little too soon as every enemy was tanky as hell, definitely a difficulty spike over everything else so far. I'm addicted now so now to figure out where to get all the parts for these frames I've acquired...
im also kinda new still to warframe only played 50 days.. but the stories are really great.. some got my emotions out ! wont spoil wich but look forward to it all
With the hives eventually in the later game you can actually kill them before they go immune if you can do enough damage
Lmao at bro's reaction to early Deimos lore...
Everyone watching him is waiting for the stream when he pops off Second Dream. 😂
Rhino will be your favorite with this style of gameplay
Ngl my first though was his weapons aren’t modded. So glad you stopped to do that
Sword dash on excaliber makes you invincible on cast.
You playing warframe made me realize I didn't give warframe enough of a chance. After researching, I've learned that the game opens up at around 150 hours. Before that is pretty much tutorial mode. GG
Also, y'all, he may not have opened/read the message from DE Malik, but they were LITERALLY talking to each other in messages, you can peep that at 13:23 😂 seems like he gave him boosters! Hell yeah!
