Suzuki Ertiga VVT Oil Control Valve Leak. Easy fix! Save you a lot of money!

Oil control valve of Suzuki Ertiga is leaking.
The engine is K14B.
The only problem is the O-ring otherwise it is working perfectly. So why buy a new one which cost P4,000 to P4,500. Though the O-ring is not standard, and cannot find in local auto supply, there are still remedies that will save you a lot of money. You can do it yourself. Have fun!

1. I tested electric ripley and it workid well
2. Cleen everything
3. Replace new o ring
And is doesnt solve the problem

The wiring connector that connect to the solenoid itself could be the problem. it is where the leak probably coming from not from the o-ring. Try to isolate and observe if the leak is mainly coming from the connector, if so, you need to replace the oil control valve assembly. Hope this will help, 🙂

Yung sa akin ganyan din ginawa ko. Nilagayan ko ng konting silicone gasket yung nabili ko rin o ring natagas din. Pero napansin ko maynoil leak pa rin sa connector na. Mukhang may o ring pang maliit na nasa loob between ng motor at valve. :

Yes mayroon pa rin pwedeng pagtagasan ng oil, between electrical connector and the pcv body. Pero at least hihina naman siguro ang leak unlike pag may leak din dun sa oring sa loob
