    OMG I've been through all your videos and I love them! I'm an international student who wants to apply to Cambridge next year but it just seems such a far goal since the acceptance rate is super low (sobs) Watching your videos on what Cambridge is really like seems to make me realize that it is a real place after all (if that makes sense) So THANK YOU SO MUCH

    Just watching through your videos now, after getting my offer and wanting to know what to expect.
    I wanna say that your personality is really unique and I love it. And the fact that your videos don't sugarcoat and tell the real story of your experiences makes them so useful for people like me.
    Hope everything's going well for you with whatever you're up to now, and I look forward to any future uploads :)

    I really like watching your videos on Cambridge, they're really informative as someone looking to apply there soon...i'm just stuck in a dilemma because I want to apply to Downing to do law but their acceptance rate is so low so should I just apply to some other college with a higher acceptance or risk getting turned down by Downing even though its the college I prefer

      Good question, and one I asked myself when I was applying! I'm of the opinion that you should apply where you want to, regardless of how likely it is you'll get in there. If you get in, great!! If you get pooled somewhere else, it will still be fine, but at least you'll know you tried. Otherwise, you're just rejecting yourself pre-emptively

      @@hattywillmoth thank you! i think ill just go for it! btw, did your sister apply to downing as its known for law?

      Hi, I don’t know if you’ll find this helpful but I was in a similar situation last year. I decided to apply for Downing Law in the end, but as it’s so competitive I ended up getting pooled and getting an offer from a different college which I now think I prefer and I’ll hopefully end up there in September. So just remember that even if you don’t get into Downing you could get pooled elsewhere :)

      @@luketyler hey it’s been a while, but thanks for the advice - I applied to downing as well and got pooled today too!

    Hi there Hattie......love these videos.......a quick question if I may. Those who are about to be interviewed for Cambridge, Do you think 'the powers to be' check a candidate's social media for an insight to a person's character and do you think its possible they would check their parents social media posts also in order to get a complete family picture???? Curious. Many thanks, love those videos. 🙂

      @hattywillmoth  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hiya - thank you! Glad you like my videos :)
      I'm sure they don't do this!! I think checking candidates' social media - let alone their family's - would take up a lot of time for very little gain

    you learn this at any university when growing up. I thought you would share some special insights from an outstanding academic institution that is highly selective and you did so well to get in
