After watching this and mechas reviews, the hg didn’t sold me but this size and just the overall design, I think I wanna get this kit. Just a sucker for master grade sizes and bigger versions of existing kits.
Really like that they included a seated pilot figure. Nice stickers too.
This is one of my fave releases of the past few years. I just wish they'd release some more of these in 1/48. HURRY UP BANDAI!
The power metalic stickers made me think of a charging LEDs from low batt to full.
It gives me an idea of sliding stickers modification with both red and green colors altogether.
Hope they do the other two in Full Mechanics. I prefer the other two designs over Kenbu.
I prefer the byakuchi though
And the butt flap can hang onto those wing flaps on the yellow one.
Get both versions. One takes more space. Im syked for the clear pieces because i like to leave armor off some models' limbs to show the frame and now i can have one that doesnt look just lazy.
It's basically a MG especially with the pilot figure
I got this kit a couple days ago, it's my first kit from the Kyoukai Senki line. I jump over this than the HG ver. And I'm pretty much excited to build it. 😁 thanks for the review as always! 😊

Saw it in my local hobby store and had to get it. Very different to all my Gundam collection
it is a Full Mechanics kit with a MG style cockpit gimmick which is kinda neat.
Given the size/scale it would have been pretty embarrassing NOT to include the cockpit gimmick. Definitely nice to have it

So it cost's the same as a Master Grade, has the same amount of detail as a Master Grade but it's not a Master Grade. Ok, makes sense. Before anyone says it's because it's not a Gundam, I have three versions of the 98 Ingrams that have that gold logo on the boxes and the full mechanics Calamity is a Full mechanics despite still having the same price point so I'm wondering what the point in separating out the product lines actually is.
Hope to see it again once you get around to painting Kenbu
i was gonna buy the HG at first but then i saw the full mechanics SOLD $$$
i wish they would make 1/12 MAILeS so that i can fit figma figures into it.
The HG has shine through eyes, dramatic angles when head and/or waist rotated a dropsy butt flap. Easy to dramatically pose. Crumps into a boxy shape. I enjoy just playing with it as its sturdy and beautiful. Now I'm hoping this is all that and more. Easter slowing down FedEX I think but ok. Also happy its not too popular so i can actually get a release of a novel machine with Bandai quality. So excited!

in all seriousness, this kit could have been MG easily, can't really imagine what they would add to it if they actually release an MG version of it, kit's awesome, as expected of the kyoukai senki line.
Yeah, it’s not like it’d make much sense to have pistons everywhere like the Barbatos or an MG 2.0.
Did the runners hint at other possible Full Mechanics Amaim?
Also, do you happen to know if USAGS will soon have up for pre-order the kits from the second season?

The mechs are okay but since I’m not into the series, don’t think I’ll be buying them.
It’s true that there are less new gunplas nowadays, especially regular ones.
Been spending money on FSS, macross, mecha musumes and various koto kits 🤣
That neck is killing the proportions for me. I can't ignore it. That said, I really hope they make a Byakuchi in the FM line. That's probably my favorite of the designs.

it depends on what you want, they're two totally different kits. MG astrays are good for their age, but they're definitely a bit awkward and janky at times, compared to the new kenbu which seems (i haven't built one myself) much simpler
I built the Blue Frame 2nd Revise and it's a great kit, I'll go for the MG if you ask me....I can just get the FM Kenbu on sale somewhere else in the future.

Yeah it started off pretty popular and pretty quickly faded out
@@ZakuAurelius having tried to sell some kits at conventions, I can tell that the lack of the "gundam" brand does hurt. Had to mark down the hgs and explain how the articulation and poseability were next gen compared to some old hguc.
For now the hg line is still ongoing with some tweaks to engineering (wrist joint). Some decisions didn't help such as making the ghost 2 and maybe one or two more kits pbandai in japan.
Sorry coming back to old reviews, got an event in Jan and was wondering what to build to illustrate some impressive kits
Shame that the anime is soooo generic
