I don't understand how ZoS has such a poor understanding of how important cleave dmg is in this game. It's exetremely obvious it's the main reason NB and Warden especially are unplayable in vet hm. And they keep making content requiring more and more aoe while half the classes are utterly incompetent at it.
Zos really buries their heads in the sand when it comes to well known industry standards when it comes to game balance. They like to do it their way, listen to no real critical feedback beyond a case-by-base basis, and forget the steps they made in a previous patch almost instantly when going to a new patch. Fun fact; it's pretty well known by indie and even larger game devs that nerfing stuff in games like this causes animosity in the playerbase, especially when you do it without giving an explanation for why (that makes sense) and without anything that can take the place of the nerf. More often than not, the direction that Zos takes only harms the players' enjoyment of the game. Fun is first in game development, and Zos doesn't seem to view it this way. I haven't played the game much for about two years now, but I keep up-to-date on the changes in hopes that something substantial happens, overall, in the game to fix the problems that Zos introduced over the years when it comes to the balance design of the game, but I doubt it'll ever come. Skinny Cheeks' design is what I've been looking for, and seeing it just be a concept that he most likely proposed during the application process of trying to work there, only to be shot down and a follow-up "interview" being released a day later that confirms that they have no intention of changing anything anytime soon just tells me that the game might never take any turns in a direction that I'm looking for. Which is sad, since I love this game, I just hate the devs that run it into the ground.

I would love to see the top HM speed run guilds try and challenge themselves and attempt trifectas with the worst classes to truly see the potential, i really think it would be eye opening.
Me and some friends recently got back in because we missed all the fun we used to have but how can I get anyone new with endgame in mind to learn anything except arcanist. I genuinely have no idea how to defend this game and am confused why its still the same state years later.

@@darius4004 That's the catch, you dont play templar If you insist on playing it I would go full ST and focus down the target your team wants to cleave, with Deadly Strike etc, so you maximise damage on execute where plar is best, but as I said in the video its kinda int to not play Arc

I didn't play for like 6 years and I was so sad to see how bad Nightblade is now, I made an Arcanist and now I'm laughing... in PvP make a Sorc and you will be laughing. Cannot expect Zenimax to introduce genuine thoughtful Class Balance when it's been 10 Years of imbalance. Ride the meta and be less sad.
This is one annoying thing. Maybe just test stuff before putting it in and make necessary changes BEFORE its put in the game rather than add it then tell people who put time to get it to screw themselves.

Im not realy sure about the skill setup for it should i use a spammable like venomous knife or should i just use a full dot build with it? Pretty much this. I still have things to complete, but in the past 6 months-1 year my whole group left the game. Only me and my brother left and have no will to set up a new group. I was already pissed with content nerf to eso plus value. But after 10 years and they still have no clue. Unbelievable.
For the arcanist using the banner, would you have all arcs run it just to get the free crux? I know it doesn't stack, and you can't get multiple bonuses from different banners. But would all the arcs runnin the same banner be worth for the extra crux so more beams?

@@CharlesESO no, but if you're hard set on playing some of the weaker off-meta classes for some reason, there's that. Most of them can do 100k+ dps quite easily, which is more than enough to clear any content if there is a good tank that buffs the group instead of just holding block

After arcanist release i loss my interes to ESO, someties i play my sorc or nb (easily surpassing it on solo target), but ESO trials now - cleave fights, so now trial's dd setups i see is sup dk, sup necro, sometimes mk sorc and braindead arcanists Remembered i finally did black rose triple just before the update release. It was hard but when ppl do it with 3 HOLDYOURLMB sorcs or 3 arcanists dd it s just not right
