Boxing from from either stance, trading shots in the pocket, he was successful doing whatever he wanted. Pound for pound in my opinion.

However, to compensate for the frustrations that the boxing community is experiencing right now, Terence Crawford would be a good substitute, not Ugas. Crawford really is special. The fist time I saw him fight…. Before Gamboa. I can’t recall when exactly but I didn’t see how special he was. Then he just kept winning and dominating against everyone he fought. I could see over time just how special he was. Crawford would adapt and do whatever it took to win. Incredible talent and hands down the greatest boxer of this generation.

Teddy Atlas is wrong about Terrence Crawford being the best pound for pound fighter in boxing. Terrence is one of the best fighters fighting today. But he is not the best if your talking pound for pound and if you are talking more skilled. I would give Terrence A grade of C plus or maybe a B minus for his defense and A minus for his offense. If you punch with Terrence you can hit him easily and he is also a slow starter. I predict that Shawn Porter will defeat Terrence. To make my point quickly without going into a lot of detail let me speak about the skill set. The following fighters have better skills and techniques than Terrence. They are Shakur Stevenson, Devin Haney, vastly Lomachenko, Canelo Alvarez, Demetrius Andrade and Guillermo Rigondeaux even though Rigo never fights to the best of his ability, the ability is still there. When it comes to the term pound for pound people misuse that all the time. Let me use an insect as an example. A Ant can lift a hundred times it’s weight but a person at best can only lift 2 times his weight which one is pound for pound the strongest? The answer is the Ant. Manny Pacquiao is a 11 or 12 time world champion and he won 8 of those championships in different weight classes and mostly everyone he fights is taller and naturally bigger than him and he wins 99 percent of the time. So the true pound for pound best fighter is Manny Pacquiao. And last there are a few other fighters that Terrence Crawford May be better than but he would still lose to in my opinion. They are Keith Thurman, Errol Spence, and Jermell Charlo.

I feel sad for Bud. He honestly sought for them elite fighters since moving up to the welterweight division. That alone makes him an all time great. 147 is not even his natural weight granted he has not faced the highest quality opposition Bud has never turned down any fighter. He has a few more years to just add on top of his legacy and if this fight is made with Porter he gets past him and then end up beating spence, how can he not be an all time great even #1 pound for pound of this era?
Good interview, lot of questions answered. They sat on the interview for a minute since Pac vs EJ was still the topic so we're a few days deeper into Bud/Porter negotiations. Purse bug should be happening real soon, I'm hoping the fight is pushed through but it's good to know that if it falls through, like I'm expecting, all he has is one fight left under contract.

I don't get why Spence with his tiny one division 2 belts at age almost 32, with having fought only one healthy and top worldclass opponent of his weightclass (he almost lost against) in his whole boxing life is ranked that high in the pfp list. Teddy Atlas is wrong about Terrence Crawford being the best pound for pound fighter in boxing. Terrence is one of the best fighters fighting today. But he is not the best if your talking pound for pound and if you are talking more skilled. I would give Terrence A grade of C plus or maybe a B minus for his defense and A minus for his offense. If you punch with Terrence you can hit him easily and he is also a slow starter. I predict that Shawn Porter will defeat Terrence. To make my point quickly without going into a lot of detail let me speak about the skill set. The following fighters have better skills and techniques than Terrence. They are Shakur Stevenson, Devin Haney, vastly Lomachenko, Canelo Alvarez, Demetrius Andrade and Guillermo Rigondeaux even though Rigo never fights to the best of his ability, the ability is still there. When it comes to the term pound for pound people misuse that all the time. Let me use an insect as an example. A Ant can lift a hundred times it’s weight but a person at best can only lift 2 times his weight which one is pound for pound the strongest? The answer is the Ant. Manny Pacquiao is a 11 or 12 time world champion and he won 8 of those championships in different weight classes and mostly everyone he fights is taller and naturally bigger than him and he wins 99 percent of the time. So the true pound for pound best fighter is Manny Pacquiao. And last there are a few other fighters that Terrence Crawford May be better than but he would still lose to in my opinion. They are Keith Thurman, Errol Spence, and Jermell Charlo.

I feel sad for Bud. He honestly sought for them elite fighters since moving up to the welterweight division.
