i thought that too but i’ve been hearing some stuff about him. apparently he’s apart of a “self help group” which is basically a cult. sean strickland, who used to train with him, said he’d almost force younger gym members to come with him to the meetings with him and also said he was a guy who couldn’t take jokes and would take everything personally
After watching this interview even tho Pereira is my favorite UFC fighter I will be celebrating proudly if Khalil wins, his journey is amazing and inspirational.

It’s legal though. I never understood people’s problem with kicks to the knee but those same people have no problem with heel hooks, arm bars, kimuras, knee bars, etc…

But they are very different to the submissions you listed with perhaps the exception of heel hooks (which people rip and is relatively easy to injure someone with). For one you can tap to submissions. Can't really tap to a kick to the knee, either it destroys you or it doesn't.
